I was going astray lately, wanting more of the world than God. I heard this song and it reminded me of how I used to feel about my first love Jesus. Now I'm back on track.

I'm not a youngster and I am a Christian. I really enjoyed the song. I would love to hear these young people sing a couple of renditions of some of the older TRADITIONAL GOSPEL type songs. Those songs that I used to hear my mama sing when cooking breakfast or dinner or when she was worried about something or someone. The songs my great-grandfather sang before there were air conditioners and the windows had to be let up to get a breeze in the "House of Prayer." I think that would help bridge the gap between the two previous generations and the generations of today. What I mean is the divide in music between babies up to 25 years old, younger adults 25 - 40, then there's the group of 40 to 55, then there's the group of 55- 70, then there's the group ages 70 and above Scripturally a generation is 40 years. Because of babies having babies we had to redefine the word. Doesn't make sense right. The same with the written Word of God. Instead of taking it as it is written (face value) we have to dress it up to meet the needs of the those that won't believe. Those given over to "seducing spirits" You know those that say as long as it gets them to church...... Well personally I don't subscribe to that mentality. Give me that old time religion. Or as it seems appropriate to say that stuff that brought my 87 years old mother and 89 years old daddy or my 108 years old grandmother and 110 years old grandfather. Or even my 50 years old self. I've been a musician in the Missionary Baptist churches, the CME, AME, AME ZION, COGIC, PAW, AOH, EOH, PRESBYTERIAN, CATHOLIC and probably a few others. Children learn more about what has afforded the fellowship of believers in Jesus to grow and flourish into the Bride of Christ. That's what He's coming back for; His Bride. Sorry for such a large post. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you what I and a few others believe and share. But then, narrow is the way and there are but a very few find it. Do keep singing. Just a little belief of mine. I'm just saying "What would mama 'dem think about us and our music?"

Jazmine Richardson praise God, i dont no you but just thats the devil my friend, he comes to destroy and to kill, kill your peace, your joy, your love, yo everthing, oh but God is a restorer of hope, peace love joy whatever yoh need theres a way out you are conqueror thru jesus christ in him theres redemption. i plead the blood of jesus over your broken spirit over your circumstances. cry out to Lord with a mighty voice and believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that he died and rose again for the sins of his people that thru him theres everlasting love and a peace that come from knowing him that surpasses all understanding. theres nothing to great that the lord cant pull us thru youve got to know that and believe and if you believe youll start feeling different about the struggles of life. and then theres medication that you can talk to keep you out of those dark places that make us feel like giving up. i myself take lexapro and it relaxes those anxious and overwhelming moments that try to take us out. but you have to fight your way back youve got the power to do it. most people r afraid to ask for help or seek counseling. tthe lord has endorsed those people on this earth for a reason got to them running because you are worth lliving the lord thought enough of us to die for us what more can one do for a friend and thats what he call us friend. no greater friend no man have than this but this to lay down his life for a FRIEND...........i'll be here for you write anytime , love you my sister in christ. hold on it will be alright joy comes in the morning light hold on dry your eyes it will be alright................

Your never to young to live for god. I'm 19, a christian and yes we do mess up but u ask God to forgive us. When living for god you may have to let go of people, even people who has been with you for years b/c yall are at 2 different points in your life. Don't be afraid to put your trust in god.
