I’m only a kid, and I know everything there is to know about Walt Disney, his family, and the Disney parks. I’m a Disney nerd FOR SURE, like you, Brian. I’m so jealous! I got so angry when I read about Charles Mintz stealing Oswald!
The theft of Oswald wasn’t illegal, but it was so,so wrong of Charles to do that. Not only did he take Oswald, he took away most of Walt’s artist and made them draw Oswald for himself. I could practically feel his heartbreak and anger mixed together inside me. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not weird at all, but I sometimes like to imagine that I’m a reincarnated version of Walt because I want to make Disneyland a better park by listening to the majority of people and change some of the ride details and functions. I want to be a Disney Imagineer when I grow up. In that way, I’m not normal. All of the other kids want to be veterinarians or firefighter, but I have bigger plans. I. Love. Disney. I want to be wrapped up in Disney so much that Disneyland becomes my home.

I have that exact Mickey mouse T-shirt. Also, so happy for you, I hope one day when I come to America I will visit the museum as well. I saw a documentary on the museum with Walt's Daughter Diana and since then I always wanted to go and visit it.
Hate to sound like that nerd that says "Well, actually", but I'm going to say it anyway: Well, actually Walt did have the idea of Frozen, but it was of the Snow Queen. Then somehow he filed that away until years later that people found Walt did some renderings of the Snow Queen and the people of Frozen took it from there.
Omg! I was like totally Disney geeking out watching this! Along with visiting the other Disney parks being on my bucket list, going to the Disney museum is definitely on there as well! Thank you for sharing
wish there was a warner brothers museum wher you can learn the history of the 4 brothers and looney tunes like how oswald is the first disney character well bosco was the first looney tunes character believe it or not i think the first voice of mickey was also the voice of bosco just guesin
***I was just there with my dad last summer! Just the two of us took a road trip all the way from Minnesota to San Fransisco for it! We ended up staying so long that we didn't even realize that we were only half way through all the exhibits when they had to kick us out! LOL! Still totally worth it! Can't believe you were there too! XD
Brian, I'm so jealous! No, in all reality, I'm very happy that you got to do that. I love you so much and I was wondering if you could make a trip to Disneyland next week. Because I will be there and it would be so much fun to see you.
Okay iv'e been to the museum 3-4 times and had no idea about the quote in the elevator. How! Also thats my all time favourite place in San Francisco. Also you can walk over to ILM and explore the lobby its amazing!
Aww! I didn't know you came over this way! I live a bit nearby SF, and have been there many times. The last room always gets me teary-eyed... just the drawings of the world mourning Walt's death, combined with the instrumental version of "Feed The Birds" softly playing in that room. It's just...gaaah, the feeeels. ;-;

also, at the family museum, they have art exhibits every so often for Disney related things. the last time i went, they had Mary Blaire and an artist who worked on Lady and the Tramp and Cinderella
***It has been my dream to draw at Disney my whole life that I always felt a connection to Walt. The more I learned there, the more I realized how similar we were. He even loved to go skiing! How awesome is that? XD
I absolutely loved this video this is going to be absolutely one of my favorites, I want to watch this over and over and over again. Next time you're going to take a trip like that I think you need to do the GPS because I think Paul's not a geographical person just like me. Don't ask me for directions I am terrible. I love your reactions to all this cuz it would be the exact same way with me how I would react to all the Disney nerdom. If going on to yours and Paul's Instagrams wasn't bad enough watching this just made me want to live in California even more but not in the San Francisco area too many Hills no thank you. Oh the humanity why can't I afford to live in California. I loved it that all the things you were mentioning about it would just automatically happen in the background you didn't mean for it too and this was so hilarious. I went their over the summer where they had a very special exhibit open for a limited time and it was about the 7 old men that worked with Walt, and yes they were called the 7 Old Men
The Disney family museum is the place where I go when I need a Disney with drawl. I’m too far away from Disney land but an hour away from the museum so it works out.
