6 years ago, I was moving away from my best friends I was growing up with. Because we all loved this song, I told them that I will not listen to this song again until I meet them again. And this past August, I ran into one of them while I was looking for them, and I was overjoyed. I got all of their numbers and became friends with them again. After that, the first song that came into my head was *Glad You Came* . I played it, and realized that my friends were glad I came.
I remember me and other kids listening to this on a bus during a school trip in grade 3, 2011. Now I'm 19, going into college. It only feels like yesterday...
I cried. I forgot about this. I was only like 8 when I last heard this. I'm now a teenager. I remember listening to it and having fun. My friends are gone now. You ever have those moments... When you finally turn 18 and you go back on all these good ol songs that made your childhood? I didn't have the greatest life in the realistic world but when I started gaming and making all these online friends. Those were the absolute best memories I've ever had and I wanna thank each and every one of them for being there. It's sad when you say "goodnight, see you tomorrow" and that person isn't seen for 8-10+ years now. Great memories I would never trade for anything else. I remember when I was young like 8 or 7 years ago I would always go to my cousins house and we would play call of duty mw 3, skyrim, minecraft and a bunch of other games on the xbox 360 and we would play for hours. I miss those days 😪😞

i didn’t really actually know this song until a couple days ago, but when i heard it, it felt so familiar. it’s like i heard it once in a while as i grew up and it’s just been in my head. like a thought that only pops up in your head once every few years or so…it’s so weird. i like to compare a song’s lyrics to what my life is like at the moment of hearing it, and i’m glad i heard these lyrics at just the right time. it makes this song all the more meaningful.

Awww the nostalgia 💕 When I was in kindergarten, I had a crush on a boy named Jared. I wanted so badly to hang out with him at recess that I purposefully separated myself from my friends and sat on the edge of the basketball court. Jared came up to me and asked if I was okay. I told him that no one wanted to play with me (I was a lying little shit back then) and he said that he would play with me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up and we sang this song together, making up and entire choreography for it. He moved away for first grade and I never saw him again. To this day I still wonder where he is. Anyway I felt like sharing because that story is what I think about whenever I hear this song. 💕
Im 45 yrs old and remember from someone very special my son he was 13 years old and every time the song would play on the radio my son used to tell me to higher the volume and he would sing I remember very clearly. This brings back so many memories In 2016-2019 we use to go fishing with my parents and sister and this other family to Connecticut at 3 AM and during me n my sister and these other two boy siblings wait for the sunset to come up we sat up these rocks while we watch our parents fish and the older brother started to sing this song, and hearing this song play again in 2021 at 2AM really wants to make me cry, remembering the good memories
