i'm thankful God led me to this sermon. i had convo with my friend the other day who was beginning to doubt the bible and i was super shocked to hear, only a few weeks later satan began sowing seeds of doubt in me as well for a different topic. God is not the author of confusion, and the lies of questioning God's word is not new as we see all the way back in Genesis. we can't make the mistake eve made, but stand on & trust in the true word of God that is perfect and inerrant as He is

We are not under a covenant with God. The New and Old Covenant are for the Jews ONLY. Yes, the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us that our sins were forgiven on the cross (before we were born), and that we are saved when we believe the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4. There is no water baptism in I Corinthians 15:1-4. Those that practice "water baptism" are just replacing "circumcision" that Satan attempted to get the Galatians to practice - with "water baptism" which Satan has gotten you to NOW practice. Sadly, our Apostle Paul is no longer alive - Sadly, we no longer have preachers that are disciples of Paul - Sadly, today's preachers preach false gospels. NOW, why do you practice "water baptism?" WHY!

@@bama101010 you have issues and fo not understanding the scriptures. Read the gospel of John and then you can understand why Yeshua came to save not just the jews but the gentiles. Read it and Yeshua died for all sinners not just the jews. The old testament was mostly for the jews but a lot of the scriptures are for us too. I dont have time to be here explaining but I hope you understand the baptism with water is a command, Yeshua himself had to show the example for all of us to see. You don't get saved by the baptism but its a start. You need to believe in the son of God and repent from the old you, when you are born again then the is the first step of salvation. The old and new testament is for all of us, there was some commands that only applied to the jews.

@@virginiasanchez4614 Please study your Bible as commanded in II Timothy 2:15 - "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." When we "rightly divide the word of truth," we rightly divide the gospel of the kingdom which was for the Jews, from the gospel of the grace of God, which is for everyone. Ephesians 1:13-14 - "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." ALL preachers that knowingly combine the gospel of the kingdom, which was for the Jews, with the gospel of the grace of God, which became the gospel for everyone after the Jews stoned Stephen, are II Corinthians 11:14-15 Ministers of Satan. II Corinthians 11:14-15 - "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. BTW, all denominations including the Catholic Church combine these two gospels. If you attend a denomination or the Catholic Church, then you attend an assembly that combines these two separate gospels. God blinded the nation of Israel until the Gentiles fill up the "body of Christ." Romans 11:25 - "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." When the "body of Christ is filled, they will meet Christ in the clouds. I Thessalonians 4:17 - "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." At that time, the nation of Israel will not be blinded anymore, and the Great Tribulation will occur. Christ will come back to earth to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4) and He will fight against the nations that battle Jerusalem. In Zechariah 14:9 we see that Christ will establish His earthly Kingdom. That is why the gospel of the nation of Israel was called the gospel of the Kingdom, as seen below. Zechariah 14:1-9 - "Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. 8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

@@virginiasanchez4614 You say that our church started at Pentecost. However, that is not what our Apostle Paul says. The verses below are written about God saving the Jews. God blinded Israel (in part) so that they can be saved. Do you see verse 28 where Paul says that Israel is an enemy of our gospel, but that they are elect, so they are beloved for God the Father's sake? You are misinterpreting the Bible just like every denominational preacher does. Romans 11:25-28: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

The New Covenant was for Israel - just as the Old Covenant was for Israel. Hebrews 8:8-13. Here is the passage v.26 - in which Paul scolds the Gentiles for eating and drinking the Lord's Supper unto damnation, (which was for the Jews) "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." Below is the total scripture you are referring to. I Corinthians 11:20-34 20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. 21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. 22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. I have also explained how salvation was achieved in each gospel. GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - Before Christ's Ministry: SINS - were remitted by the sacrifice of animals. SALVATION - was by works and belief in God and following the Law of Moses, that the priests taught. GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - During and after Christ's Ministry: SINS - were remitted by "confessing their sins," during water baptism (Matthew 3:6), and belief (Acts 10:43) in Jesus Christ as their Messiah and King. SALVATION - was by works and striving till the end and keeping the Law of Moses. This gospel was taught by Jesus (while on earth) and Peter and the 11. The Dangers of King James: CAN'T IGNORE THIS!!! Here we go! If we are dedicated to going by Scripture, which translation are we going to prefer? The ONLY translation that contains the word Easter instead of Passover is the King James. You may ask, "What is the error?" Do you want your children to grow up worshiping a pagan fertility goddess, or the only true God who caused the angel of death to pass over the houses of the people Israel who had put blood on the doorposts and lintel? Our culture is more interested in eggs and bunnies than on the true meaning. What other Christian celebrations have been hijacked for secular purposes?
