He did it. He actually gave me the keys to be Ranks 1 through 10 Affliction. You're never seeing the leader board, Zyn. With this guide I now have the power to fully detach from 7Eleven and game 24/7 to the top of the world players. Nothing you do will stop me. I have 3 pallets of expired Ghost Energy Drink. All of the flavors. No 2 week work debacles in my future. No wife and kids to hold me back with "bills" or "food." Just the stray cats in the area to keep me warm at night when the GPU can't sustain me. The new journey is beginning. See you Thursday. Aff boi.
Holy shit somebody making videos about warlock who doesn't make me want to bash my head into a wall listening to. Please keep making warlock content lol.
Thanks so much for this guide. It cleared up a couple of rotational questions I've had. Started playing Aff in TWW, never played WL before. And I dunno why but this specc just feels super intuitive to me. I don't think I've ever played a class which after 2-3h of gameplay made it so I barely had to look at my hotbar. Loving the Aff life so far ^.^
The first class I ever played was Destro Lock, and with TWW I am looking forward to start playing Aff. Your guide is giga clear and well made, it helps a lot. Thanks !
Thanks for this guide, it's nicely in-depth and super helpful. That said, as somebody who is *completely* new to Warlock, to me it felt like this was more a guide for people who have been playing Afflock for a while and you're just going over the changes from DF. You went over a lot of key points, but you were talking so fast in most cases that I found myself rewinding to re-listen to some things, and it left me with a lot of questions. What's the difference between Shadow Bolt and Wither? What is Nightfall, and why is procing it so important? Why are your rotations the way they are? Etc. Again, this was overall a great guide, but I think it would be really helpful to actually new players if the pace was brought down just a little bit to give a bit more time to understand what things are and why things are.
Haunt helps with our ST a decent amount, but you can drop it if you want in lower stuff. Press malevolence right after soul rot & before you start to dump your raptures.
@@arsynwho I wish haunt still increased ALL dots like it used to…. Not just st…just don’t know what to drop for it lol… So seed, vtaint, srot, dark glare , then malevolence…?
so when soulrot burst expires, i should just keep maintaining dots and using procc on malefic rapture? and here and there i should use malific rapture to waste 1 shard, but i cant go under 1 shards left when soul rot comes off of cooldown?
for HC Single Target you said try not to dump shards? is there a reason for it, or is it just more worth casting shadow bolts if your not capped to try get crescendo?
In contrast to SH, HC you dont gain shards when initiating your dps window via Soul Rot. To ensure you maximize the MR casts in that dmg window, you want to go in with a large number of shards (try to hover around 4ish once SR is coming off CD).
I would slow down with the talking and maybe have a script. The guide was great and answered my questions, but it was kind of hard to understand you to the point where i had to rewind several times
I mentioned this in the guide, but I made custom icons for my main abilities. They are available in the discord for free if you would like to use them.
Hello, beginner here : I don’t understand why leveling build talents include hero talents while you only unlock this at max lvl (80). Am I missing something?
Don't hero talents start unlocking at 71? Either way, I understand what you mean. A majority of the guides tend to cover what is being led up to, and don't so much go over the order of how to get there and why some talents are more important than others during the leveling process.
This affsplainer just cant stop. Listen bud, I have played aff since mop remix ended and I just got my 4set. Watch your back in TWW leveling. My void walker is mad tanky and there is no way youre getting through him
Yeah I think just numbers wise drain is better like in Sims & a situation where you can never have to move. But shadow bolt feels really great to play with nightfall procs. However sniping shards with drain soul & the execute damage bonus is also really nice for drain value. Either way I enjoy playing both & will be changing depending on dungeons & things. So you should try both & see what you like best for what situation.
@@Johndersarrrr corruption only lasts forever if you are running absolute corruption. I believe I mentioned in that section I wasn't running absolute corruption, just for the target dummies.
Actually mastery now is better than int for aff try it for your self I test it in target dummy with 70% mastery and 610 level and with 600 level and 90% mastery and I did a lot of dmg with 600 level 😂😂
