The ability of the art team to show the deep emotions and pain in Anduin with his eyes alone was so good. That first view of him with that haunted look on his face caused me to hold my breath.

I loved the whole thing. I've been a huge Anduin fan since the beginning (BC-2008) and I did all of Shadowlands (never took a break). I knew from what was going on that there was going to have to be PTSD in there and omg, yes, that thousand yard stare. The CGI was flawless, watch how the lips sync with the words being said. Even with Thrall, around the tusks, just like an orc would. Anduin needed Thrall's trust, he felt so untrustworthy and you could see that little glimmer of hope as he took the sword down. Thrall stepped into the sword, the shaking stops. It's an invitation for Anduin to do what he though he might have to do and the "I trust you." broke that tension. Then, as he offers to stand by Thrall, no matter what, the slight nod and sad smile that the orc gives is a sign that he got the first step in helping the boy recover. So yeah, CGI was perfect, script was awesome (Chris Metzen is a genius) and I can't wait to see what happens.

The pain and suffering he endured. The fact that he was made to suffer the presence of Arthas from the jailer as well as the hatred that had control of Sylvanas was very hard to comprehend. His father and Saurfang coming to him spiritually to aid him in overcoming the dark evil force of the jailer and at the same time helping Sylvanas to overcome the hold that Arthas’s actions had on her served as a reminder that light can overcome the darkness. Yet the pain and remorse Anduin is still enduring tells me that he is someone worthy of the light. My hope is that it will be returned to him.

Hi! Thank you for your reaction. I have some words I would like to say. I’ve beaten depression, I was diagnosed with PTSD which I battled and won it but then you still battle after it. War within have two meanings , it’s about the world but yet gives the message inner you(anduin), same for thrall finding his place in the horde. However, trailer.. Trailer captured everything I battled. 1: you see someone coming back after time and tried to heal but “time itself heals nothing”. That’s super strong sadly. It’s true. It fix you to come together with inner peace. 2: Sorry to say but disgusting details, my heart broke and does every re watching. You see a broken man, and here we have Thrall giving his hand but, the memories is coming back hence the PTSD. You fought that battle and trying to scream for help, im not anymore.. Hands treble but the other pert stabilized it. “I trust you” Strongest meaning and forgiveness there is. That’s what we all need, in the end. A helping hand that doesn’t reject you. Friends and family or random. We trust you. The forgiveness is so powerful and that’s why Anduin gave such “thank you” message via his face with tears cause… after you done something bad you are always judged by that but never have forgiveness. Strong message captured perfectly in emotions and I thought it was real for a second. Sorry for this huge post for anyone that read but this is truly a huge message people forget what some of us are battling. Thank you ❤

In Legion, Magni says that when Azeroth spoke to him, it wasn't actually a voice, but sort of like a feminine hum. In the features trailer, Alleria doesn't receive Azeroth visions, but instead, Void visions. I'm curious if the Illusive Man star look in the visions is just a front, and Xal'atath is actually the one sending out visions to talk to people. For what reason, no idea.

I quit in BFA, then quit Shadow Lands. Didn't play Dragon Flight. I will play this, just for the sword. And Metzen. You should watch Blizzcon, there are a lot of quality of life changes coming.

Firstly : I wish you a speedy recovery, i'm new on this channel, but eh! I love how this cinemtic speaks to anduin, but also us, the player. Shadowlands has been a rough time for Wow, both in game, and in the studio. Thrall words, Metzen words for us is saying we can trust blizzard again, and after that blizzcon, i want to believe them. On a side note, Blizzard get back its independance fro Activision, it has been confirmed by microsoft, i want to believe, this saga, i want to look forward to it. As for Dragonflight, it has this feeling of blizzard trying to build new fundations, some works, some don't, it was like a sandbox to try out and propose many different activities, i give credit to the dev team for that.

Dragonflight is a solid expansion, man.

I think Thrall saying Anduin is not his past is Metzen low key speaking to the players that WoW will not be its past (6 years), lol. Metzen did say it was a heartfelt moment, maybe he also meant, his return to WoW is heartfelt, and he wants to earn the faith of the players again.

An epic job from the Blizz as always, I've been playing through DF and still loving it. The emotions and detail are just incredible. So glad Anduin is back, he's one of my favourite characters. Shadowlands was a shit show but with Metzen back in charge I have hope that it will be great again. I have to say dragonriding is a blast! I would love a movie done like this or even a tv series. That would be so awesome, so long as they start from the beginning so non-players can follow along.

Is it just me or does Anduin kinda look like Stephen Amell from Arrow?

I also quit during shadowlands. But i always return for the sake of story been doing that since classic and all 9 expansions.

Metzen: "NOW is the time, to come Home." Me: "i never left man, but i am relieved that you're back." i know how you feel though, WoW was a mess the past few expansions, still is a bit of a mess narratively. but at the point of Dragonflight, it's my only grievance at this point. it's become my 2nd fave expansion, (my 1st is Legion and my 3rd is MoP) there's never a list of chores thanks to borrowed power being gone, i can feel like i am done for the day/week as far as progression and there's stuff being provided for the casuals. and best of all, the talent trees are better than ever! my morale was very low, thanks to Shadowlands, the gameplay, music and art teams were on their A-game as usual but story and borrowed power was definitely a huge problem overall. now my morale is at an all time high, Dragonflight and what has yet to come, got me hyped. Azeroth calls it defenders home, what say you?

Just going to say i have played every ex pac since wraith, Dragon Fight is the best expac i have ever played and legion was my favourite, but can understand those who walked away after or during Shadow Lands i almost did as well, you all missed a wonderful expac that is all I am saying shhing now

I think dragonflight has been a great filler expansion, for what is has been. We needed some time away from all the awful shadowlands systems. Time for metzen to join and make less shyamalan twists and more straight forward storytelling.
