Quick update to ST tree guys you will want to run something like this on ST www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/monk/windwalker/DAQAEQREZRFRVUFSFhECQVPVQUUVVURRFERRFQCQQAA Mainly just removing a couple points to get to whirling dragon punch and its capstone. This is currently simming highest for me
Man expel harm felt so good when keeping hit combos up, now you literally have to get rid of it to get your main abilities. Terrible talent tree design man
I completely disagree, in some scenerarios you werent even supposed to press that ability in the first place. Yes sometimes pressing it felt good but overall the new Monk design is WAAAY better and we have way more quality of life.
@@KryBabyz bro you just see numbers that doesnt matter in a rework like this.. numbers will get adjusted. You aint got no clue what you are talking about. Touch of death is better, mastery is better, Blackout kick spinning crane kick and chi burst proccs are better, you dont cancel fists of fury anymore and it actually does damage, we scale with haste now and our dmg Profile changed. We van actually compete in Single target now, especially in dungeons... theres just too many arguments against you... furthermore they removed the shitty brew which Was a meaningless ability to press and we got whirling dragon punch back
Nice vid. Have you tried flurry of xuen instead of hit combo? I like it cus in the downtime you mentioned a double tiger palm isn't TOO soul destroying. Plus it kind of pumps in dmg, and has nice interaction with celestials too.
On the testing ive done it seems to do around 2-3% of my overall damage (ST) which still falls short of hit combo giving 5% damage increase unfortunately.
honestly hitcombo might not be as important with most builds in talent tree not utilizing it more than base - i think double or tripple tiger palms might be okey as a rare solution to kickstart the spender rotation
Its not bad damage wise problem atm is its having to compete with things like Revolving wind and a bunch of other good choices near the bottom middle part of the tree. It also has a stacking function so the talent doesn't do anything for a good minute but In certain situations where you get adds spawns you could use it to burst high
The talent actually is going to be competitive this season, I've been testing it on my monk in higher keys and it's compatible to a lot of my other dps. It's currently doing about 30 million damage a run roughly(at515 Ilvl) and it's about 5.3% of my damage it hits aoe and your clones also do it. So if you burst aoe with max stacks I'm breaking 1.4 mil damage.
If they’re going to take away our builders, they may need to consider changing the mastery. Feels like I’m relying on BOK procs to allow me to actually build up to my, FoF RSK, WDP combo
I cant even see what bro is doing during his AOE rotation. The area is full of people, there are no WAs displaying what abilities he’s using and at what time. 🤣
hey Gamingwithdeepdishpizza, my dad would like to come back to the game in tww but he doesn't know what to play - could you make a video for him giving a tldr of every class, spec and hero talent tree
@@Hitzo906how long has it been since he played and what did he like before? I’ve been playing off and on since Vanilla and I’m in my 40s now. Maybe I could offer some suggestion if I knew more about his preferences.
@@benkelly7182 Thanks Ben, he's played recently just took a break for a couple seasons and I generally have a good grasp on what he'll like. I just don't keep up with beta at all so need a quick rundown from my guy DDP
Blizz killed monk's raid/single target dmg. Come from a guild that is usually ahead of the curve raiding, was top 2 dps and now I'm bottom 2 dps. Honestly, as someone who mainly raids and doesn't like the grind of keys, going to have to call it quits on the game if it's not fixed by the time war within comes out...
Mate, I saw you were doing the ST rotation in a wrong way, and maybe that is why you are running out of energy too fast. The priority is to let the Fist of Fury and Sun kick on cooldown. Always do this Fists of Fury, and later Sun Kick. If you have more Chi, try to use blackout kick. The tiger palm is the only skill which you will use on two situations: 1) When you are out of Chi; 2) When you don't want to repeat the same skill. With that in mind, I saw you were not prioritizing the Fists of Fury and Sun kick as you could use. You of course used both skills, but you use unnecessarily much more the Tiger Palm, which made you went off Energy. Try again playing monk like that, and tell me if it got better.
RSK/FoF have always been our priority but if you run into a situation where you will overcap energy whilst channeling a FoF that leads to the most downtime, what you are suggesting is to cast all spenders and run out of chi and overcap on energy which is not the play anymore because you then cant build back up to high chi because you will drop mastery/hit combo
