There was a bug with one of the Slayer Hero Talents that caused Bladestorm to not display its cooldown. So if it looked like I wasn't pressing Bladestorm; I was it just didn't display properly
The button bloat on Arms is going to deeply annoy me. I may just not take Cleave at all if I play Colossus because I value my fingers. There's really no need for that many buttons in AoE. They really should just combine Cleave and MS into one ability. Both of them existing as completely separate entities is so pointless.
Bugs can be fixed, and numbers tuned, but visually i have to say that Warrior hero Talents seem to be the most lack luster of them all. Templar "ITS RAINING HAMERS. HALLEYLUYA ITS RAINING HAMMERS" ALL mages talents seem to do something spectacular. Diablolist for warlocks is amazing. But so far, Warrior just looks like warrior.
There was an ability in swtor that was a planted attack like this and was honestly one of THE COOLEST things you could do playing a lightsaber user. I just hope they clean up the animation so that you get to see that overhead longer as that's the big finish.
why would you want to remove mortal strike? i just had recently over 900k crits in raid with MS. remove cleave. never wanted it back. or make cleave a passive so that mortal strike hits 5 targets when sweeping strikes is up. cleave is so unsatisfying to press while ms feels like the old execute but i can press it at any HP. also i want the old execute back. why do we have to buff execeute with 3 different passives? one execute should feel like it hits like a truck. i mean i can only use it under 20% HP. make it meaningful it is long overdue
The idea wouldn't be to remove Mortal completely. The idea would be talenting Cleave replaces Mortal Strike but causes Cleave to interact with every talent that affects Mortal Strike (like Thunder Clap and Whirlwind talents for Mountain Thane). You'd be trading some ST for Cleave and not contributing to even more button bloat.
My warrior being my vanilla baby I always look to swap back to warrior every xpac. I like Arms and Gladiator Stance and I don't really tank anymore but Prot too I guess. Glad Stance is gone (R.I.P. bring it back), I don't want to tank anymore (Legion ruined it for me/forced to raid lead actual potatoes) so All that leaves is Arms. That's fine and dandy I'll main my warrior and play Arms all xpac... but do I really want to run the risk of Arms being dookie and suffering because I wont play Fury? I wont play Fury out of spite. I'm tired of the only class fantasy warrior have is "huur durr me rage me smash, FIRE BLOOD DEATH!" just blows my mind that one of the only classes in this game to actually exist in human history and Blizz/community is wrapped up and laser focused on the berserker. Also trash when Arms is better than Fury and all you hear and see is bitching and moaning that they cant play fury. Thats why I liked Gladiator Stance so much... it was a fresh fantasy. TL;DR Warrior class fantasy is dogshit i'll only ever play my beloved warrior again if Arms is fuckin fantastic.
Great Video overall - big thanks for putting in the work! But man that said, the rework and Hero Talents look and feel ... so meh? I feel like Warrior wont have a great time in TWW. This video did the opposite to excite me for my War in the upcoming expansions... :(
I just got to say, I've never heard anyone ask for cleave to replace MS. Maybe if it daynamically fid damage based on number of target hit. But otherwise, no thank you

@@Boss-ot1iy What are you talking about? It's the easiest shit in the world to balance. Literally just bake the two abilities together so the effects of MS apply to your main target only.
@Ainastrasza it's easy to balance for single target. When it comes to aoe it won't be so easy since it'll be pretty busted. Even with a similar debuff that wake of ashes get where it deals significantly reduced damage to secondary targets. They had to nerf that ability because it was too strong and now it's kind of a joke. Maybe you should pay attention
Arms has a massive button bloat issue in AoE, and it's only going to get worse with them adding Demolish into the mix with the Colossus spec. Just because Monks have it worse doesn't mean it's not an issue here either.

No real benefit for either of the Hero specs in particular right now. SMF is likely to continue just being too weak to see play overall but I will keep an eye on it
