God I love claude rains. He was such an incredible, amazing, talented, and iconic actor. I rewatch these bloopers so much because no matter how many times I rewatch it, I’m gonna laugh and it always cheers me up when I need it the most. He’s such a huge inspiration for me and I’d give anything just to go back in time and tell him how much he means to me. Rest in peace angel.

There’s an old story that he took his daughter to see a rescreening of the invisible man, and was insulted when the theatre owner tried to give him a free ticket

This was a lot of fun. Claude Rains was of an extinct breed of actors who actually took pride in his performances. I think that "performing" in American film hardly even takes place anymore. It's sad.

I have to agree dude it makes me ill to see the crap we have now. 😭. Although Hugh Grant :) he is good though.
@yohannbiimu

@@PaulLyndeBlue1926 I said "hardly ever," so it does take place from time to time. Acting is an art, and in all art, it takes talent and imagination to pull off good performances. Current Hollywood CELEBRITIES are devoid of imagination and even the desire to be entertaining. Movies today are only about "spreading the message," so that takes precedence over all else, even individual performances. It's like living in 1930s Germany and 80% of the films have been directed by Leni Riefenstahl.
@PaulLyndeBlue

@@yohannbiimu 🙂 I figured. I know there is a little bit of good movies but not so much. I miss the good old days were most of the movies actually had a good group of actors & actually cared to make a real good quality movie. Unfortunately it's not easy to come by. (I saw the Hunger Games, Avengers & Guardians of the Galaxy. Those are not at all like the good ol 1920-1970s movies. Pretty much like the classics. I wish this would happen again. But it probably won't.)
