Thanks for the reaction Phillip. As you watch this and you see Paulina smiling during the beginning of the song. This is because she is hearing the crowd singing along with her on this, then she drops into the somber mood of this chilling song.

The fact she wrote it at 13 years old says lots about her mind maturity and how incredible talented she is to nail down such a deep, poignant concept. This song has made many reactors cry, and many of us as well.

Right there with you! I saw them last year in a very small and intimate venue and it was amazing! They are so fantastic as artists and even more as real people- from Monica (Mony) the mom, to Luis the dad, to Rudy the manager. All are wonderful people!

Thank you, Philip, for reacting to this song from The Warning. In my opinion, this song is a true gem of pure artistic creativity. The topic of alcoholism and addictions in general is extremely difficult to deal with in a song because it can easily spark reactions and controversies, but Paulina did it in an extremely sensitive and correct way for the addict and those who love him and suffer too. The extraordinary lyrics of the song are accompanied by the piano and the voice of Paulina, capable of awakening the deepest feelings of the audience and the extraordinary accompaniment work that Ale and Dany do on their instruments and voices. Dany's fine guitar work is remarkable. Of course, it is noteworthy that the song was written by Paulina when she was only 13 years old. Many times we tend to underestimate the capacity for observation and understanding of young people, although, of course, very few have the artistic capacities of Paulina to express it.

Glad your liking them so much. They keep dropping more pro shot live songs from 2022 Teatro concert and today's drop was "Survive". A Popular BANGER, and responsible for hooking a majority of us! Black Holes has made many a proud grown man fall to his knees, and and get flooded with emotion after hearing it. Pau is one of the 3 Prodigies, and all are pure genius in, out, and around their career, that they have built with their own creative hands. This is not the only video of this, and has been done at other shows, but mostly in the past. It is a rare one for them to play now, as they have made so much more content since. The last time they played it that I have seen, was at an hour long acoustic Jam for a Canadian (Chom97) radio station, with a few invited guests, between gigs. Ale was sick, so it was just Pau & Dany, but man, was it special.

I was surprised that they didn't do more piano based older songs at the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concerts. I understand the difficulties when touring, especially when they are openers. I do hope they start adding older songs back to the play list as they get bigger and bigger.

I think they heard us, when they did the "Jar song" on the first N/A leg of the Error Tour.@@randymarple9830 They still have a few of these older songs on the set list's today. They have also said that they are moving forward, with new material. If they are about to record a new LP, after they drop new singles, the next tour will focus on those, and the most popular songs from Error would be the set fillers. I do think that "Survive" will never go away, and will always be played in the future. It's a right of passage, to see them play that live.

She was smiling at the beginning because the audience was singing along with her. BTW, the band has said very little of their songs has happened to them. They said they "consume" a lot of media and also read in their spare time and most of their songs come from what they read. Pau also came up with the concept for their second LP, "Queen of the Murder Scene".
