To sing and drum at the same time with this level of skill is phenomenal. Plus this show is in Mexico City. High elevation. Over 7000 feet.

The more I see of these young ladies I am more convinced that they absolutely will one day be recognized world wide as the greatest power trio of all time! I’ve always wondered if the echo effect when Pau sings gone and wrong were intended to cue an audience response? It seems the audience is so enamored with Pau’s vocals and performance they just remain mesmerized? Just a hauntingly beautiful song!

The doll on the stage was a Dr Simi plush toy. Dr. Simi is the cartoon mascot of a pharmacy chain in Mexico, and it has become something of a recent tradition in Mexico to throw the dolls which are often decorated or have messages, onto the stage in appreciation. Apparently many venues now prohibit it, but a few still seem to get through. 😎👍

Buzz Lightyear, nope, Dr. Simi! Dr. Simi is a mascot of Mexico's Farmacia Similares pharmacy chain. It's become common for the audience to throw Dr. Simi dolls onto the stage when popular bands perform in Mexico. The Warning have received a lot of them. Dany has one in her lap on Revenant, perhaps ready to console Pau, who can get pretty emotional with many of her performances. There's a great still shot of Ale consoling her at either this show or the same venue the prior Friday night. Oh, by the way, I absolutely love this song. Pau's performance rips my heart out again.

The stage presence these girls have is just unmatched, PERIOD!! Their passion, power, and everything about them is just PERFECT! This song in particular hit me very hard in the feelings because of just how raw and emotional pau’s voice is.

Bro, i CANNOT WAIT for you to get to Pau playing a grand piano and singing Black Holes and Breathe, live at the Pepsi Center. Breathe was especially hard for Pau, and she broke down at the end. 🤘

Isn't it great how many different musical feels and genres they can combine and present, but still sound like The Warning. They can put out hella noise, but they certainly do NOT have to be all-loud-all-the-time. I really appreciate that about them, and I know that is one of the things that keeps me interested.

So, as a phenomenal artist, Paulina writes their music, sings while being a world class drummer and controls the lighting during a show all the whilst entertaining the crowd through her personality. The definition of class.

Pau is an unusually good singer for a rock band playing drums and singing in pitch at the same time🤯 Danny sings high harmony starting @ 2:43 then drops down to low harmony. This is the kind of subtle stuff that brings goose bumps, and *their songs are soo good!.* Hope they keep getting more recognition, they made it into Wacken 2024, is sold out six months in advance!.

The control that Paulina has with her voice is admirable. In an interview he said that he practiced running and singing at the same time. to control breathing well, Pau's great talent.

This is my favourite from them. They just rock! This song made me forever 1 of The Warning army. Pau stands in this song but the 3 were just perfect in the making of this song.

I love the timbre of Pau's voice and this song, although it requires a great effort from her, she really shows off her qualities as a singer. Pau says she finds it hard to hit the low notes after a long concert especially in Mexico. Also after a bit of a bug in Mexico she has had to be helped of stage and to the end crowd photo, She is a real trouper.

Pau exercises by running on a treadmill and she sings while running. That's why she can sing like she does and still can drum like an expert.

like many of their songs, they leave things open to interpretation... some have speculated the title is for the year "2023" while others have thought it references someone's age... i was not sure but have come to see it as being about "2023" because that's when Pau turned 21 years old... the lyrics "barely old enough to drink" are fitting in many locales where 21 is the drinking age... in DPA/TW's home area, the drinking age is 18, IIRC... then again, while it sounds personal, maybe this song is about something they might have read or seen in a movie or TV show... after all, their song *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie "Ratatouille"... that scene has the camera looking through a hole in the wooden floor... there are two characters down there having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... there's also their song *Wildfire* which was inspired by "The Hunger Games" movies... i think at least the 2nd one titled "Catching Fire"... DPA/TW drawn inspiration from a lot of places... IRL, books, movies, games, etc 😹 this song has brought tears to many eyes... while being a powerful drummer, Pau is also a fantastic and very emotive singer... i don't go a day without hearing DPA/TW... they possess both, my heart and soul...
