Enrique caught up with this Mexican trio of young musicians in the band "The Warning". We talk gear, their appearance in The Ellen DeGeneres show, hard rock, metal, etc. Don't let their age fool you, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
These are the First Ladies of Rock! Love their music. All of them are so proficient at their instruments at such a young age. They will be around for a long time.
Very nice to remember this interview, they already played opening for The Foo Fighters, lzzy Hale, Guns and Roses and Three Days Grace last 2022 and today January 14th 2023, The Warning is going to open 4 concerts for muse this January 18, 20, 22, 23 here in Mexico, congrats girls , the dreams come true, keep working hard and making your great history
These three need all of the recognition and exposure they can get. Aside from the fact that they sound great, they have something else...professionalism beyond their years. Their stuff is really great...and American rock radio and tv should take notice. To the top, ladies!
Could not agree more just discovered them this weekend and I love their original songs not only exceptional musicians but exceptional ladies so mature and professional and more so than musicians and artists twice their age. New fan and I agree their future is bright and American radio and TV does need to take notice.
The album 21 st century blood was to advanced and to complex to understand for the young generation that time it came out. Every words is actual even today in the 28 day of September in 2022, great job young ladies, and never loose the connection to Mother Earth!

Wow i just love this band maan, im from India, its very hard to see very young talented young kids especially into rock music in India, and i love the way you young girls perform, love to hear some reggae rock or slow jazz rock from you guys, God bless
Possibly the best interview I have seen. The guy asks a question and then lets the girls answer it, he doesnt butt in or try to make himself look clever. Obviously a fan because his enthusiasm shows through.
Im mexican and Im so glad to see these girls succeed in music, and I love that most of the comments are positive!! They will go far I hope, we need more girls rock bands in the world!! Sigan así chicas!
@DecolonizeMexico & Aztlan I am not Mexican, but have some experience of what you are talking about. I think that the first thing to recognize about The Warning is that they grew up listening to rock music sung in English. They went on to cover these songs, and then this moved onto writing songs. I do not get any sense that these sisters are disrespectful of being Mexican. It feels as though they are proud of being Mexican. I think that I heard that their earlier attempts didn't work out very well. The warning are absolutely not clones, they have been very brave and courageous in keeping true to who they are and want to be. As I understand it, they have turned down many record deals and other opportunities to keep control of their music.
@DecolonizeMexico & Aztlan Thank you for your interesting and articulate response. Although I respect your perspective, I do not agree with many of your comments. We live on an incredibly diverse planet, in which cultures are increasingly being influenced by those around them. Trying to protect any culture from being influenced fails to recognise that cultures develop and change. As an example, language evolves over time, as new words are added, and the meanings of other words change. Cultures are dynamic not static in nature. There will always be a battle between maintaining traditions against moving 'with the times.' But cultures MUST evolve because they must move towards increased equality between the members of that society. Many traditional cultures had very traditional roles for men versus women. I can't talk about Mexico with any knowledge, but having lived and worked in 3 continents, I have seen how cultures are diverse (whatever the scale). No place has a single unified culture and there are differences in how every person believes 'their' culture should be. And this is why I'm replying - we need to build respect between all of these differences in our perspectives. I do not agree with you, but I absolutely respect you and your perspective. I think that we need to recognise that some traditions are important, but other aspects are (and should be) open to change. I also feel that it is important to be open to find out about other people's perspectives, and this is another reason for replying to you.
@@CarsNCarClips I appreciate you respecting this persons perspective. But as your can see just by its name it has an agenda and is just on a Troll Roll. This person talks about being Mexican and Latin America along with Decolonizing Mexico. But the society he speaks about is colonization in itself.. Just over a few hundred years in the making. They wouldn't know what to do in a Mesoamerican World before influences from across the ocean. Those peoples back then wouldn't understand "Latin America" of today.. Different langues, cultures, behaviors, and genetics. This person wants something they know nothing about except for what they google on the internet and social media memes.

at this young age..having achieved the level of writing and performance this young ladies have?....seriously i see huge things ahead in their careers..and Enrique..great job of interviewing
I'll say this again these young ladies sound like they've been doing this for twenty yrs they have such great direction and guidance from the people around them but it really all comes from these girls they have to really want it and it seems like they do they're also smart and talented

Great interview! Enrique is obviously a mega fan and who could blame him for that! This is the way interviewers should do their job; leading questions but letting the girls give their own answers in their own time without overriding them with smart comments. Capped by a video very well done.

Ale is being way too diplomatic about the Whiskey show. It was Murphy's law in action. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong -- they got little if any sound check, the house drum kit was pretty bad, mics malfunctioned, even a mic stand kept breaking down. The girls still played a great set and sounded terrific despite all challenges.
Rough edges are often much more interesting and attractive than perfect. I personally don't think troublesome gigs like that at the Whisky harm the band at all, it just make the girls look even more real and rock'n'roll. .. and nothing have still stopped them from delivering a great show. 🤘
Agree totally but they were very professional and not only overcame all the obstacles but put on a great show. there song survive is one of my favorite all time songs now.
Simply amazingly talented young ladies. Listen to them perform their own song Survive. They should blow away Paramore, Flyleaf, and the crap evanescence put out. I got there CD and could not find a song that I disliked.

Try keeping these talented Mexicans out of your fortress Trump and you'll probably have that dead bear on your head ripped off. Music is a World Wide pleasure for all to hear no matter where it originates from. Their parents deserve a lot of credit for their success. Letting them blast their instruments away at home and accomplishing so much in a fairly short time. So many acts are a one or no hit wonder. These girls have so many great songs already. Follow your dream and don't let the wolves get to you.
4:23... Hmm, I wonder if when people from Spanish-speaking countries speak in English, would they always say words like "Aluminium" the British-way of saying it? I'm from The United States, but also say it that way so when I first heard it nothing seemed off to me... But then I realized that they're from Mexico, close to the US, so wouldn't they have learned the American way of saying it? Or is that just how Dany says it and not how it's taught there? I'm genuinely interested...
