Dust to Dust is the opening song to their epic masterpiece concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. The tragic tale of a woman’s obsession leading to madness and murder. Written when they were barely in their teens. Ale at 11 or 12 given major credit in the creation of Dust to Dust. Check out the original performance in 2018 Lunario CDMX. During the breakdown their manager Rudy Joffroy joined them on stage dressed as a preacher in black delivering a sermon in Spanish. He had difficulty keeping time with the band so a prerecorded sermon was later used. Here you can’t even hear the track as it appears 8,000 fans are reciting the sermon themselves. In earlier performances of Dust to Dust Dany always ‘passes’ the stage to Pau, taking a bow and pointing to Pau. At the Lunario Dany stayed in character as the ‘Queen’ throughout the performance of the entire album, with claw marks across her throat and hand! You could see her descent, losing her battle for her soul and sanity with each song. Let Pau continue to amaze you with Narcisista, 23, Black Holes and Breathe. There are a lot of quality videos of their soundchecks, those are quite funny because you can see clearly Ale and Pau keeping the energy low, just actually checking the sound levels... and on the other hand you have Dany that can't help but to dance in her place and sing full tilt as soon as the song gets going. There is no lip synching she is just that good.

One of the fun parts for TWA is when a reactor goes into Dust to Dust w/o a lot of info & seeing their face as they realize Pau sings lead! For the song Dull Knives, the 'cut better' is in reference to dull knives causing more pain as the protagonist self harms - its all part of The Warning's concept album Queen of the Murder Scene.

La obra musical Entre el 2017 y 2018, tres adolescentes mexicanas escriben, componen y recrean la historia ficcional de una joven perturbada por el deseo de un amor no correspondido. Pepsi center is the Gold standard The Warning concert, well worth going through for sure. Both these songs are from QotMS and Lunario CDMX is the very best way to take that journey through this concept album. Dany's vocals are just insane. Pau’s vocals are phenomenal and really unique, but as singer, having the range and control of Dany can’t be ignored at all. You should watch her singing at her private night concerts during the pandemia lockdown. She is incredible at everything she sings.
It's okay. We're all in love with Pau. I'm also in love with Dany and Ale so it's complicated. "This does not feel real that's how good it is". Well, we're on the same page then! Their songwriting and arrangement is just out of this world, and then you have the execution. I had to get a pool to sit in while watching as I melted.
The title of the second song is "Dull Knives (Cut Better)". Because they cause more damage. Both of these songs are from their Rock Opera called Queen of the Murder Scene. It's a brutal story.
There may be a few bands that are equal to The Warning when it comes to stage presence and live performance, but there’s none better, not among the current competition.

Nice Reaction. There are so many gems from the 2023 Pepsi Center CDMX concert. Pau voice shines in 23, Black Holes, Breathe, Disciple. Ale gets a brief moment to sing alone in Choke. The best version of their Enter Sandman is from this concert. Enjoy the ride, every song from this set is top notch.

Since you love (DUST TO DUST) You must do the whole complete concept album of (QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE) IT TELLS A DARK STORY OF A GIRLS LOVE OBSESSION THAT LEADS INTO MURDER AND REMORSE AT THE SAME TIME SHE IS FIGHTING FOR HER INSANITY. We would love to hear your interpretation of the lyrics in the songs as it tells the story.
Pau is their other fully capable lead singer, though while Dany excels in the rock songs, Pau generally is the one who sings the heartfelt and emotional sad songs (Breathe, Black Holes, Revenant). There are exceptions for both singers, like Dust to Dust for Pau and When I'm Alone for Dany. For what I think is Pau's best singing-while-drumming performance check out the song 23, especially from the Teatro Metropolitan show.
The three sisters sound completely different but can sound really similar when they want or need to. Dany could not sound like Pau does singing *The Warning - "REVENANT" (Official Lyric Video)* or *The Warning - 23 Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022* and Pau will make you cry when she sings about addictions in *Black Holes (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX)* and it get's even worse in *Breathe (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX).* Daniela sings most rock songs better and Paulina could never match her in *"Hell You Call A Dream" (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX).* Their dad thought that the youngest sister Alejandra would become the best singer of the sisters but both Pau and Dany have evolved a lot in their singing and also both enjoy singing lead, unlike Ale who just sing lead if she really has to and is still happy just singing harmonies and small parts.
I wish what I am going to say is taken for the good and positive. I don't know who needs who more if The Warning (or any other new and fresh and healthy rock band) needs generation Z's (XXI'st century blood) support or generation Z needs The Warning as a leading figure of your own generation. Your personality and reaction gives me hope.
