The Warning - Dust To Dust (Live) React/Review 

Pau’s ability to sing lead vocals while beating the bejeezus out of the drums is a rare talent indeed. She sings lead or shares lead with Dany on about 1/3 of their songs. Warning fans often say she must have 2 brains and 4 lungs. Enjoyed your reaction and subbing for more! 👍😎

The Warning Army Denmark present ;) These ladies ages when this was shot was : Basist Alejandra (Ale) 13. Drummer Paulina (Pau) 16 and Guitarist Daniella (Dani) 18. So basically kids but amazingly talented young ladies. Incredible band. Drummer Paulina was praised by Kirk Hammett of Metallica for her performance on their Enter Sandman cover. He stated. The drummer kicks maximum ass ;) Quite a huge tribute to get from a legendary guitarist like Kirk Hammet :)

Drumming and singing with that energy is a magic trick that very few can do. Remarkable talent 👌 And that little girl on bass was 13 when this was shot, turned out she’s a mighty bassist 🎸

The Warning Army, Florida Division reporting for duty, Lets look beyond their ages for a moment and ponder that, until recently, they were an independent, (no record label) band and the album Queen of the Murder Scene was entirely crowd funded and self produced! Add to that that the three sisters wrote and arraigned each song them selves, no ghost writers or paid lyricists. And comparing any of these songs with Choke and, although the production is more polished, the sound and spirit is essentially unchanged and true to their core. Their talent is only surpassed by their dedication and work ethic. I don't have kids but if I did, I hope they'd be like these three talented and humble, charming sisters!

I’ve been supporting this band for three years now. One of the things I love about them is their diverse song writing. You will not find two songs that are the same. They grew up listening to bands like Queen, and I think their penchant for diverse sounds is a result of being exposed to many forms of great music (they started their instrumental lives playing classic piano pieces). Pau is a titan on her kit, and has been described by their manager as a musical genius. I will not argue with him, as all evidence supports his statement. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️

No matter how many times (must be several hundreds) I listen to this, that bass line gets me every time. And while everything else is on the spot too, TW has rised to my holy trinity (among Band-Maid and Nightwish).

First off, 2 The Warning reactions = new sub here! This concert was their album release show of Queen of the Murder Scene. Dust to Dust is the first song and Prologue of the album. The next 12 songs are broken into 4 chapters of 3 songs each. It is a concept album that plays like a musical Graphic Novel! It is truly a modern rock Masterpiece! I highly recommend watching all the videos of this performance in order to get the whole story! Paulina, drums, vocals, piano, "The Shredder", 16 years old here, is only barely 5' tall. Also, they are playing in Mexico City at an elevation of 7250', very thin air! She is like the Energizer Bunny on Red Bull! LOL Daniela, Guitar, lead singer, piano, "The Commander" or "The Crimson Queen", 18yo here, and Guitar Riff Queen! The most charismatic frontwoman you will ever see. Alejandra, Bass, vocals, piano, "The Groove", 13yo here, is a human metronome and absolutely incredible bass player. She is the youngest EVER Spector bass artist, and now at 16yo, she has a new signature line of Basses, soon to be released by Spector. She also now has her own Custom made 5-string Bass from Spector. She is the Youngest, but now the tallest sister, at about 5'7". Great reaction! This performance (Nov. 2018) was the first time TW played live their sensational 2nd album "Queen of the Murder Scene". "Dust to Dust" is the first song on the rock opera album. The band was super-hyped that night and the entire concert is something to behold!

The Lunario performance was in Mexico City, altitude 7350 ft! Try drumming and singing at that altitude when you come from Monterrey which is only 1500 ft. The Lunario was a very passionate and energetic performance and the girls were particularly great instrumentally. They struggled at times vocally but that rawness adds to the edginess of good hard rock and roll! Continue Queen of the Murder Scene for a great and creepy story of obsession and psychosis. And btw, at this performance they were only 18, 16, and 13. Thanks.

Great reaction guys. I could tell you were enjoying the song by your expressions--no words required. This is the first song of The Warning's second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", which was nominated for an Independent Music Award. Everyone has their favorite concert to listen to the songs from this album. My favorite venue is the concert at Lunario CDMX (which you watched here) because I think it has the best overall combination of energy, passion, lighting, and sound quality.

I've been to a fair amount of concerts in my 50 years of existance but this one in Mexico City was my favorite of all time! I was in front of the front row baracade and the whole concert was stellar! At about 2 in the Morning I had dinner with the band and other Big supporters and had the honor of Sitting right across from Paulina (Pau) Pronounce (Pow) the drummer and had a great conversation with her, she even ordered my Dinner as I didn't know what I wanted! These sisters are the nicest young ladies you will ever meet and really appreciate and love all there fans! You have only started the Joyride of the warning and I know you will love every minute of it like I have!

One of my favorite things about this one is that not only does Pau sing and play drums at the same time but without missing a beat she switches to playing the fill with one hand as she fixes the mic

This is the intro to Queen of the Murder Scene, an album that tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. Next is Crimson Queen, a slower song which introduces the girl's (the Queen) obsession, someone who doesn't even know she exists.

Austin representing. I missed them when they played SXSW back in 2016 but I got to see them in 2019 at the Whiskey a Go Go. They took the time to meet and greet just about everyone present. No other band would do that for their fans. That raised my admiration and respect level through the roof and to top it off it was one of the best rock performances I have seen in a very long time and they just keep getting better and better.

I see your relatively new to the wonderful world of the Warning, so you can start next with there Tedx videos, they have 2 with 3 songs each, awesome performances. Then I would do there @Liceo, then Foro Didi and Lunario after that your on your own, they have so many great songs, after awhile you start to feel like there's just not enough time to do all of them, then you'll accept it as a personal challenge and trudge on, you rock!

Singing while drumming it's hard... But to do it in a concert in Mexico City at 2500m over sea.. it's AWESOME!

Singing + Drumming is no mean feat. Jen Ledger from Skillet has talked about how much extra rehearsal she needs to cement in her brain which notes fall where while singing. 🤘🤘

They all 3 can sing when Danny the guitarist isn’t feeling good Ale the bassist will sing 2 songs in the set haunter and Red Hands Never Fade. But I suggest doing this concert of the Album the queen of the murder scene in order. Also in this concert Dany the guitarist is 18 who is 21 now, Pau (pronounced pow) the drummer was 16 who is now 19 and Ale the bassist was 13 is 16 now who is also the tallest and is sponsored and has her own bass from Specter. These ladies started playing at a very young age and it all started because of rock band. Also all their stuff live like Jinjer is waaaaay better than studio. Next song if you wanna stay in order of the story should be Crimson Queen. Dust to dust is the introduction of the story to be told.

Phil Collins and Don Henley could also sing and play drums at the same time. There are very, very few. But that is some VERY good company for Paulina to be among.

Pau is very energetic and a wonderfull performer, there are a couple videos when they join in stage with Eruca Sativa and Moderatto and Pau sings lead out of the drums, she is like the Energizer bunny jumping all over the stage. Nice reaction, you have so much to see as, with the exception of 1 other official video, everything else is live either on stage or in their basement rehearsal studio. You really should go back to when it all started with Enter Sandman at some time so you can see just where they have come in 7 years. Really Great Reaction! to continue any song are really great, but, as a suggestion, keep this album in order (Queen of the murder scene), Dust to Dust is a prologue of an amazing and a dark story about a girl love, despair, obsession, murder, and so on, so if you can, take it in that way, you dont regret... keep going guys

Roger Taylor, 8. Peter Criss, 9.Karen Carpenter, 10. Micky Dolenz. Paulina is fantastic for her age. No she is just plan exceptional for any age. the sky is the Limit for the warning. you need to dig deeper about them.

You can go through the live performances from their early covers, to their EP, then 1st and 2nd albums or can mix & match, but the one thing I strongly recommend is going through their 2nd album Queen Of The Murder Scene in order, as it is a concept album with a story that develops through the 13 songs in chapters. Phil Collins from Genesis and Jimmy Marinos of The Romantics (He probably belted it out like Pau does) are just a few drummers that come to mind. I have heard others say the timing of the drumming and singing are different so she must be operating on two different brain tracks. Singing by Pau, or Ale is great and usually gives Dany a vocal break. It is a luxury to have that in your band. Pau has had to fill in a few times when Dany was under the weather. The crowd is never disappointed. See their live intimate mini-concert in Canada for a local radio station and a small crowd. It was very cool to see.

It's interesting that you're doing this in reverse in a way, starting with Choke from the upcoming third album, then back to a song from the second one. Interesting how? Well, they've changed so much since the EP (Escape the Mind), which was kind of them trying out genres and trying to find their vibe from what I understand, then the first album (XXI Century Blood) had social commentary, different topics, more of a somber tone to it, I think I described it at from singer-songwriter to female fronted metal (though not that heavy on the metal bit), kind of mostly grey in mood (from being home sick to a song about being close to someone with an addiction and other topics, like domestic abuse(!)), then the second album hit (Queen of the Murder Scene) with a VERY dark tone, and a concept album to boot. It was also much heavier at times (though many will say it's not very heavy I find it matters a lot what you compare it to), and now the third album that sounds like it's going more for the heavy sound, but still, so far, dark vibes and tine as far as subject matter goes, which I love. beauty in darkness an all that :) Just be aware of the tonal shift as you move from album to album if you decide to go back in time, which I totally think you should! Let me put it like this; I love the newer songs but I still have favorites on Escape the Mind and XXI Century Blood and there's good reason for that :) As for what to do next, do Narcisista (in Spanish, so get lyrics or subtitles if you can, unless you know Spanish of course :) ), it's a killer song with a nice middle-finger to the people talking smack about them ;)
