If you want solos, you'll get a good rocking solo when you get to Queen of the Murder Scene, you'll get a good slower solo with a lot of feeling in The End. They have another song Narcisista that is not on an album yet, where Dany channels her inner Kirk Hammet with a very nice solo. It is their first song done in Spanish, which I barely speak a word of, but I love that song. Yea. I would love for more solos on this album. These young ladies have full control of the process. If they wanted a solo there would be one. If they don't there isn't. MORE WARNING!
Scott LaFleur I’m more interested in whether a song is good or not than whether it has a solo. If it has a solo and it’s good then fine but if it doesn’t and it’s still good that’s fine too.
Rudy is their manager, and he did the part of the preacher on the album. He jumps on stage from time to time and does that part, but not every time. As a reaction video, you may not want to do the whole album at the same time. I get it. It would be difficult. They released the album in chapters. This was the prologue, then they followed it a couple of weeks later with a 3 song chapter, and so on. i see my friend Bradly gave you links and broke it down by chapters. That's a compromise that works. Do some three song reactions. Each chapter she goes deeper into her psychosis. That's my recommendation anyway. You just picked up a new sub BTW
Words cannot be found to define the quality of The Warning, its powerful music and its intelligent lyrics and PAU, what an excellent interpretation of Dust to Dust, PAU is a complete musician, she owns the stage, keeps the public participatory and in his hands, PAU is the new genius of the new ROCK
Pau is an eyecatcher. I always find my eyes going to her too, but the more you watch Dany the more you'll be impressed with her. She is a monster (in an awesome way of course). All 3 of them are extremely talented, but at first watch i think Pau jumps out the most for almost everybody. Thanks for the reaction. The Warning ROCKS!
Very true John. The more you watch and listen, the more you realize that there are no weak links in the chain. They are all incredibly talented. It is just so unusual for a drummer to be so charismatic, and sing and sing well. It also doesn't hurt that she (and her sisters) are easy on the eyes as well.
There's a great little (and I mean little) almost Gilmouresque solo at the end of "Fade Away". Pau was 12 when they recorded that song for their debut EP. Dany is the leader and frontwoman, while Paulina is like the hub of the band, as well as their principal lyricist. She is a diminutive bundle of energy!! Thank you for this great, long-awaited reaction!
Pau is the heart and soul of everything they do imo. Her ability to put on a show, while holding the song together and singing is irreplaceable. Being a family band, I do not ever see them continuing without one member, or another, but you are correct. She is the engine. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious.
I think that Dani is just as enthusiastic but doesn't have a drum set to beat upon. The facial expressions that Dani makes when she sings is what drew me to the band, especially during the Enter Sandman cover. Ale is the typical younger sister trying to keep up with her older siblings and that is not being disrespectful.
Thanks for reacting to The Warning, they’re a great band. Don’t concern yourself with the lack of solo in this song it just wasn’t written with a one in mind theirs still lots to like in this song. Plenty of solo’s in other songs though!
I am an Angelina Jordan and Dimash fan but I really like The Warning, guess grandma here is going back to my teenage days, This is a prolog to there new album. The new album is a story with a main character it has 4 chapters 3 songs each, to understand the story read the lyrics first and of course best to one song in order. it is really good. If you want to hear a solo by Dani do Enter Sandman they were a lot younger there but she does a great solo.
the Preacher, portrayed by Rudy Joffroy in this video, is actually part of the song. He says "Salvation is something that you have to earn, even if your brothers try to drag you into darkness".
Dude 32 original songs that all rock. I’m a 62 old rocker and seen The Warning in LA last month in two concerts. Two night of the best music and entertainment of my entire life. I went to sound check and this entire Warning Scene is fantastic in so many ways. Remember they are 15, 18 and twenty. They know how to deliver. Do not worry about Rudy the Mafia dude, he is only their manager. Looks tuff but he is a kitty cat ....
Man I'm 52 and recently discover them, only one thing make me feel Shame: I'm living at the same city of this girls, Monterrey and I never heard of The warning before. Besides that, they are GREAT not only that... The next thing of greatness. Felicidades niñas son fantásticas.

I would suggest doing the whole album in order but I would get it from their Foro Didi show. Lunario was their first performance of the album and their first 2+ hour show but it was recorded in Mexico City which is 7 and a half kilometers in altitude above sea level and although the girls rock the snot out of it there are moments that you can tell the thin air and duration of the show was affecting the girls who mind you were 13, 16 and 18 at the time too. Also during the Foro Didi show there were some technical gremlins that popped up that really show how professional these young ladies really are. That dude is Rudy Joffrey, their manager. Hey Maddog. Awesome write up of the Preacher. And I agree, For Didi is the better show... AFTER Crimson Queen (and the Guitar issue).. Also, 7 and a half Kilometers is 24,606 ft, or 4500 feet higher than the highest peak in North America (Mt. McKinley aka Denali in Alaska)... Mexico City is 7,350 FEET (2240m or 2.24 Kilometers) in elevation (still thin air) and 2000+ feet higher than Denver. I know conversion is a bitch. LOL ;-)

Great reaction! I suggest listening/reacting to the whole album in order, and watch Dany transform into the character as she sings through the songs in Queen of the Murder Scene. You won't be disappointed reacting to XXI Century Blood either.
Thanks for getting back to The Warning. I know, everyone loves a good guitar solo, but The Warning are about writing great songs and supporting each other to make a great all around sound. They have great hooks, riffs, choruses, breakdowns, time and key changes, incredible lyrics, fantastic drum fills, amazing vocals and vocal harmonies and yes, some great guitar solos (just not in every song). If you're looking for a great solo to feed the 'solo monster' there's a good one in their Spanish language 'single', Narcisista! The Foro DiDi performance is probably the best for reacting, since it's got good audio and camera work. There's another really 'Gilmour-esque' solo in the last song of the Q.O.T.M.S. album, fittingly called 'The End' It's a rock ballad that will rip your heart out, once you get the story behind the whole album. 😁 Great review on Dust to Dust, looking forward to more.😉 🤘😎🤘

You had me at "heed The Warning!" Well played. I'm sure you enjoyed it thoroughly as you seem like an astute rock music loving mind. \m/ ETA: okay I'm in! Subbing and even hitting the "bell" so I don't miss your foray into this amazing rock novel that is QOTMS. You won't be disappointed. You may want to mix both Foro Didi in with the Lunar show for some good variety. There is something about the crowd noise of 650 rollicking and hyped up fans that makes Lunario quite the experience to behold. But I might use Foro DiDi for some of the middle songs that require Dany to go down into her lower register, which was much harder at the higher CDMX Lunario altitude. So maybe do Ugh, The One, Stalker and The Sacrifice from Foro Didi. However, Dany really shines towards the end of the Lunario show despite the vocal challenges with Dull Knives, QOTMS, Hunter and PSYCHOTIC. And Paulina was phenomenal with Sinister Smiles and The End at Lunario as well. Can't really go wrong though if you alternate chapters starting with Lunario for Chapter 1 since there is a technical issue at Foro DiDi on Crimson Queen. Then use FD for the 2nd Chapter, Lunario for the 3rd and back to Foro for the 4th which will be a nice lead into their premier performance of Narcisista at Foro Didi last June. That's my suggestion FWIW. Enjoy and look forward to your reactions!!
Nice reaction. Love The Warning. Saw them in concert in NYC. They are terrific live. Great stage presence. Ugh is my favorite song off QOTMS album. How about a reaction to another rock group called Band Maid. All female Japanese rock band. Only discovered them this past summer and was lucky enough to catch them in concert in NYC also. "Take Me Higher" was the first song I heard from them and was hooked. Do what You Tube suggest you that Foro DiDi concert at the box you can review the whole concert it was pro shot filmed and have a great audio plus it have a " Pau-cam " so you have a better view of Pau performance they were amazing that night!
It is to be noted that this show was to launch their second LP Queen of the Murder Scene, so all the songs, including this one, they were playing for the first time live and they were still all 18 years old or under. BTW if you would prefer to listen to the whole song without pause, it is not a problem with them, as they are self financed and with no record contract. The most recent pro produced live show is Foro Didi, so anything from that should be best and if not Lunario CDMX.

I too think that Pau used to be the driving force of this band. Lately or at least over he last year it seems to me Dany took over the band as the driving force. Pau was far and away at the beginning was the better musician of the three. I think because the drums seemed to be more natural to her. I also think her music IQ is off the charts. For a while now Dany has really started to shine. Pau I think holds herself back a little not adding a lot of fills and no solos. I hope in the future with these young ladies, coming into their own, will all start playing more solos, fills and riffs. @@knate_official Yes, they have a new single out called "Noise.". The video is a powerful message about today's obsession with "likes" on social media and technology replacing human interaction. I believe the full release of songs is called "Human Nature," and will be out in a few months. And I really think you'll like NW's cover of "High Hopes.". Very powerful and haunting.
