Coming from someone who was in an abusive relationship for 7 1/2yrs.. I was so hard leaving just sooo hard! But I am 6yrs free from that relationship! Because I took the stand to say NO! I am not going to go through this anymore. Granted I was in a deep depression after wards that lasted for 3yrs! But The Lord has cleansed me and healed me! That I am no longer captive in a prison of shame, confusion, ugliness, un worthy, and pain. I am a child of the living God our Lord Jesus Christ and I can testify that it is soo possible to leave that abusive relationship!! You just have to care enough about YOU! When I was in that relationship I thought about the possibility of I had a daughter.. would I want her in a relationship that I was in?! The answer to that was a hard NO! And after being beaten and punched, thrown to walls, kicked in the stomach, choked until the very last breath, held on a wall, slapped so hard, had a gun pointed to me, a knife at my throat and called absolutely every name there is.. I chose to stand up and walk OUT. I heard God telling me that if I were to stay in that relationship I would die! The devil is a liar! And has no business controlling your life. Please take my advise if this is you and LEAVE in Jesus name!

This talk is so powerful! 🤍🙌🏻 God delivered me from a toxic relationship when I was in high school, and I resonated so much with the conversation on gaslighting and emotional and verbal abuse. I went through so much of those same things in that relationship. People don’t talk about the bonds being so hard to break from in those relationships. I am thankful for the goodness of God, who is so gracious and patient in these situations!

People get into marriage thinking there won’t be conflict. There will be. But just because there is, doesn’t mean love isn’t there. Love and conflict coexist, but getting through the conflict, with love, is how you build bonds and more intimacy. Conflict doesn’t have to be a bad thing within a marriage or relationship.

In the next relationship there might be strifes and less happy that is why if one is hesitating to avoid relationship you might want to stay in that relationship because you love that person!!
I love the godly man I met, and sin has destroyed both us and we are struggling. One major impact besides the sin, is that he has ADHD. I've come to find out, there is no support for Christians who deal with ADHD. I don't want to leave him because his ADHD is too much, but how do I live through it. @sadie a good podcast on ADHD and how it affects the Christian man/woman's relationship.

What should I do if I’ve told my gf that I’m uncomfortable with a situation that involves some fling she had with her kids soccer coach, and I’ve told her over and over how I feel. And she pretty much told me to get over it. Also in 7 months dating she hasn’t told her catholic friends about me or her family. She hides out relationship from her ex husband and kids. I’ve brought up these issues. And also the fact that her ex husband is still trying to get her back. I asked her if she was intimate with coach and she said it was irrelevant. We did fall into sexual sin. And found out she gave me std. I have fallen away from God but don’t know or feel strong enough to move on.
Definitely try to get away from her. If she truly cared, she would be open about changing this and discussing how you're feeling about it. Bless you sir.
Today if you scared to relationship don’t leave !! That is a sign of GOD you are better of in that relationship!! Listen you are healthy and at peace unlike in the relationship it is more like strifes no respect at all!!
If you scared to leave that relationship!! Could it be there is an advantage being with that person!! One only reliaze how good it is as soon that person who is scared to leave so there is better fruit in relationship when we scared to leave in fact you can tell hurt if that person we left started dating somebody else!!
