Pau may claim to be a rebel, but I have seen enough pictures of her smiling, where she looks like a total sweetheart, to firmly believe that there isn't a bad bone in her body.
In most of the non Karen states if you are with your parents it's when they decide. In Texas I grew😊😊 up going to the icehouse with my grandfather (and his horse) at a very young age. Could drink a beer at 16. Could legally buy at 18 so one of our buddy's could go to buy our pint of JW Dant for football rally fridays. Drunk (and stoned) by the afternoon. A different time.
SO MUCH to love about this. Ale's epic double-eyelid eye roll when Pau said "I'm a rebel"; Dany, without hesitation or second thought, nonchalantly saying, "For sure." when Pau asked if they would lie to the police for her if she committed a violent crime; Pau saying 'Kathy' in her perfect American accent, then when the sisters questioned her on it, her fiery side bubbled up and her Spanish accent came out, "I've ONLY SLAPPED KATHY!" LOL!!! These girls...
My fan club “opinion” on the merch thing is: I like the Mexican flag shirt with the silhouette of the instruments. If DPA isn’t copyrighted or trademarked it’s fine. I personally think if you dropped the DPA part and let the shirt “imply” TW it has more juice with fans but ambiguity for possible legal reasons. It could be like one of those “if you know, you know…” shirts. IMO your logo has to be prominent on the shirt with TW adjacent references to be morally ambiguous. I love the fact that you even asked the question as it definitely shows you’re stand up people.
You can so tell that they are siblings. And I love how much Ale is talking in this one. If you don't find these ladies totally endearing and wholesome, you have a heart of stone, and a soul of concrete. And I am happy to hear that they don't, or ever will, do drugs. And I hope that goes for the "lighter" stuff as well. And Pau may claim to be a rebel, but her smile tells me she doesn't have a bad bone in her body. Notice that they didn't drink much in the video? They seem to be very open and honest, so telling the truth comes naturally to them, so truth, no drinking. You really should watch and react to "What's in my Bag?" The Warning edition, so good!
Pau's reaction After Ale said she would not throw herself under the bus for her and that she would try to get her out. The way Pau said WOW and the look on her face just screamed the word betrayal and how dare you turn your back on your sister. That was funny.
The "Wow" came out after Ale said she would try to get Pau out of jail, then they reached for each other. Pretty sure Pau was touched, felt loved. Just my take on it.
This reminds me of when I get together with my sisters. It’s a lot of talking over each other and it’s hard to tell who’s answering what! And it’s always such fun! I’m glad you played this today. It shows that no matter where we’re from, we’re all the same (sorry you didn’t have this experience, Jillian). It’s been an enlightening experience with these very talented sisters. Catch you tomorrow! 🎶 Cyd
Pau's "I've only slapped Cathy" and Ale and Dany's reaction to Pau saying Ale refuses to do her "favors" make me laugh every time I watch this video😁 18 is the legal age to drink alcohol in the UK.
I feel like the DPA shirt wouldn't be a breach of copyright tbh. No band logos in it and you don't even use their names. You can always send a message to their manager Rudy and ask him. I have no experience with him, but I've heard he'll interact with fans.
Back in the 70s/80s you could drink beer at 18 in the US. And I love this vid. DPA are so funny with each other! BTW, "Open the Pit" would be a great t-shirt, but If you haven't seen the Whacken or Pol'And'Rocks shows yet you prob won't get the reference.
Great idea, though!!! As Matt mentioned, our buddy Ashlena has this shirt designed already and we definitely don't want to interfere with her awesome creation!!!
And the individual states had their own laws about the drinking age. I spent time in Florida in 1984 when I was 18 and drinking age was 19. No one carded me and I was able to get into clubs. I miss the 80s...sigh 😂
Band Maid and The Warning just dropped their Collab video Show Them and it's fire. Since Jeremy NEEDs a PRS you should also check out the PRS Japan interview with Dany and Kanami. Its abou 10 minutes of them talking about how much they love their PRS Guitars.
You are SUCH a bad influence, but we love it (Jeremy in particular). THANK YOU!! And PS: the Band-Maid / Warning new video coming next WARNING WEDNESDAY!!!! ❤️🥷🏻
@@musikbyjh Glad I could help. Christmas is coming. Definitely think about the Amoeba Records interview. It is amazing the range and different music they are into. You can hear it in their own music and it's really cool!
I love your Warning t shirts !! In all honesty, I am underwhelmed with the official Warning shirt designs, even though I've bought two of them for support. Yours are very cool. I would be very interested in purchasing a few, if you should decide to make them available. Thanks, guys.
The only thing these sisters love more than music is each other. I loved their answer about drugs too. These ladies are so fabulous. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to hang with them? Thank you both for your loyalty to our favorite ladies. ⚡⚡⚡
I've see DPA talking to bootleg merch people outside of a show and they didn't have a problem with it. Might even have seamed honored. But that's all I know about it. I'd say email Rudy and get get a thumbs up or down. Will take a while to get a response though because he's so busy. YES to Twich! I'll be there for sure. Dany cracks me up everytime! I want to know why they were saying Ale didn't drink when Pau didn't either. I assume they cut some because she got an uncomfortable question.
Hey, @LostHate!!! Great insight, thank you. In fact, I remember that one video we covered where the gals saw the merch people....that was great!! I've already sent an email to their team and no response so far (months now), so perhaps I need to get better contact info for Rudy. Great idea - thanks again!! And we agree on some editing to this video - how awkward, especially if their team is watching these answers!!!
@@musikbyjhare you on their Patreon? I do (fan) video for Haley Reinhart & messaged them on Patreon if I could get camera access for their Kent, Washington show (I can sometimes get access to video Haley & other adjacent musicians) and they replied. I’ve noticed people commenting on getting replies since activity has skyrocketed, so maybe I got lucky, but it’s worth a try?
@@musikbyjhI don’t monetize my channel but when I asked Haley about selling Tshirts or merch to help with my travel/lodging/equipment expenses, Haley told me for legal reasons, I wouldn’t be allowed to use her likeness or name on my Tshirts, maybe not. I joined recently but months before KMF dropped, so maybe they’re too busy to answer, but before, I’d read from other Patreons, the gals were pretty good at answering & keeping up their Patreon responsibilities. I think I read that Dany is most involved in fulfilling Patreon responsibilities
@@HaleysTusk Hey, great to meet you!!! Thanks for this great advice. And also for your other comment about Haley merch experience (not creating for likeness and legal reasons). We really appreciate this - as you know, it's a lonely and sometimes scary world navigating the business end of things while just trying to have fun and support our fav bands. Don't be a stranger. ;-) ❤🥷🏻
If you've watched their videos over the years they've always been careful about not being a "bad influence." Especially to kids who might be looking up to them. Their brand is s̵e̵x̵,̵ ̵d̵r̵u̵g̵s̵ ̵a̵n̵d̵ rock & roll. But, there are a few videos among the 100s that would cast doubt on their complete alcohol abstinence.
I think Pau likes the occasional mojito and if I'm not mistaken Danny may have a wine once in a while. but something tells me we'll never hear of them getting drunk and causing trouble though.
@@biglew1161 Dany said something about spiced rum in the PRS interview with Kanami. They are adults, nothing wrong with a bit of responsible drinking. They are wholesome, but they are not angels.
We agree friends, absolutely nothing wrong with having responsible drinks!!! Based on how they were raised and how protected they are, doesn't seem like there is much chance for behaviors to spiral - which is great, but also makes us hope that they are able to enjoy their individuality and lives outside of the band. Right now (on the rise), no...but someday!!
I would be very careful about selling band themed merch, as it could definitely be a problem if they (or more likely their management) want to make it one. The "Warning Wednesday" design might be okay, since it's specifically referring to a show on your channel, but anything that represents the band or its members could be an issue. I suggest contacting their management, letting them know about the regular coverage you do, and asking them about it. If they want you to stop, you should see if they would either buy the designs, or whether they would come to some licensing arrangement (i.e. you give them a cut). They might be open to it, considering the regular publicity you give them.
Thanks so much!! Good perspectives. We are with you on keeping the "Warning Wednesday" theme and perhaps some inferred references that don't explicitly name the band in any way (one of those "if you know, you know" type of shirts). Other than that, we aren't interested in creating any potential conflict or doing any licensing ...just not worth it to us. Thanks again for the great comment! -jillian
Hello Jeremy and Jillian! Here in Mexico we sometimes toast like this with friends or family, (mainly with friends): “¡Pa’ arriba, Pa’ abajo, Pa’l centro, y Pa’ dentro!” , and it means something like: “Up, down, to the center, and inwards!” Moving the shot as you say each sentence. Long live The Warning ⚠️⚡️🤘🏼⚡️
That was probably the deepest look behind the scenes of siblings that you can get. It's the little things that upset you, but at the end of the day, each of them would throw themself under the bus for the other (as Ale said). By the way, here in Germany you can drink beer and wine in public from the age of 16 and drink everything else from the age of 18. You can't buy a gun without a doctor's certificate but with strict conditions until you're 25. You can get your driver's license at 18 but to get a driving license, you must take at least 36 hours of theoretical and practical lessons with a qualified driving instructor. This is followed by a theoretical test and then (if passed) a test drive of around one hour.
Regarding the merch, I remember about four years are so ago there was the site called Redbubble who sold all kinds of The Warning t-shirts maybe they still do. They had some pretty cool designs that I thought about purchasing some so I text Rudy and asked were the legit because they had the girl's likeness and trademark The Warning design. Got feedback from Rudy simply saying "nope". They are a signed band now and maybe D.P.A. might be cool with it their label might not be. I personally wouldn't do it. Rely on the money you get from the people who donate to your channel. I being one who donated early on with Q.O.T.M.S. and Martirio.
Thank you for this, Richard. Really helpful and we definitely appreciate your thoughts. We lean more with you on avoiding the merch. Which is a bummer, but important. Thanks again!
Ok. So I garage sale. Thank you Jeremy. Geusss. Plastic tote. Kemper board. Oh ya. 2.00 dollars. And a shit load of crappy stuff. You remember. Kemper boards. I found one. Two dollars in a toat. Why would anyone toss out something so cool.

Jeremy and Jillian, new subscriber here! Love your reactions to The Warning! Amazing! Authentic! Thank you! Btw, this is such a fun interview/ game to watch! Looking forward to your interview with The Warning! Hope it happens!
I think the DPA shirt would be fine. As long as you don't use "The Warning" or their likenesses I'd be ok with it. Thanks for starting the conversation!
I can't say this enough I love watching them be themselves also Ale talked way more than Dani. One more thing is I love your love of The Warning keep up the great work.
I wouldn't see any problem with the merch unless it encroached on a registered trademark, and the type of people y'all are, it would be clear it was accidental! Your stuff looks great! I say carry on, but as you stated in some of the comments, getting an a-ok from Rudy would be the final thumbs up (if desired)! Fun reaction and great designs! 🤘⚡
I’m fine with the designs for TW merch. I feel it comes from a place of high admiration for DPA. You can donate a percentage to a good cause or something similar. 🤘🏼❤️🔥🤘🏼🇺🇸🇵🇷 Edit: You mentioned it at the end already. Great minds…😊
These ladies are adorable it's fun to see them interact as sisters. This was lots of fun seems like they are friends on top of being family and that's very cool. Great reaction thank you 🔥⚡⚡⚡
I love Ale talking so much!!! That was so cute and fun, I have three daughters roughly the same age and I think it would have had about the same dynamic .... I also saw an interview where they said they really do not drink alcohol.
Just my opinion about the merch but I think you should be good. From what I've seen from videos, they are very relaxed in that kind of stuff, they actually felt honored seeing all the "pirate" merch for the Metropolitan concert.
You should contact the warning and ask them what they think you should do after explaining to them what you're trying to do which I'm pretty sure is just spread the word and the music about the warning is what you're trying to do you're trying to grow the base trying to grow the band you're just trying to let everybody know about it because you love the music so much (just like anybody) but you don't want to step on any Toes or take anything away from them and ask them how they feel about it, what they think they can do or whatever that's what you should do. Did you guys see the footage of before one of their concerts where they were pulling up and circling the block just blown away by all the fans that were blocks long in line and we're going to be there all day just to get in first and be closest to the stage. So they're doing one of the things slowing down just being so happy looking at the long lines when there's a guy who starts waving at them hailing them to stop the car for a minute and they do and he walks up and he starts showing them you know merch from the warning (you know bootleg Merch) and trying to sell them some and he didn't even recognize it was them and of course they didn't buy but they didn't get mad they were just "no it's okay we got that covered" or whatever you know and the band moved on they just started laughing and then an interview later they were telling the interviewer about it and they said we were just so excited and Blown Away we were like yeah!!!! yeah!!!! people are making bootleg merch of usf us we're worth it. And it made them feel so good they were happy that it happened.
Merch is so cool, original and supportive. Hope you get the green light to put it in your store. Loved the DPA one, I would proudly wear it for a TW concert but, also for Independence Day (Sep-15) Cheers from Mexico
Ey, amigos. The Warning nos une. The Warning
What a funny reaction. Regarding the merchandise issue, I think that the ideal is that the band itself is the one who exclusively manages its name and image, and I know that their intention is good and there is no evil in it, but if everyone starts making merchandise for the band, the time will come when they will not get remuneration from their own brand while others do it. I think that the designs are very good and they could use that same creativity to focus on their own merchandise for their channel, you are good enough and chévere enough (Venezuelan word to say that you are cool) to market your own brand well. Greetings from Venezuela PS: I dare to suggest that every time you react to a new song using the studio version in the same video, you include a reaction to the same song but live, that way you would have a more complete idea of how the song works live and compare it with the studio version, I think that would be fun (English via Google translator)
I wish we could get the full unedited video from this. It is very chopped up and I think there is a lot missing to give context for some of the answers. I am sure they cut a lot that the producers thought was not interesting but anything DPA says is interesting to TWA. At some point, Pau must have not wanted to answer a question because at the end Dany and Pau tell Ale to drink because she hadn't yet. Amoeba Records just released a video called "What's in your Bag" with the each of the three girls going thought the store filling a shopping bag with records. I am sure you guys will react to it in the future but they must have shot it the same day during their promotional trip to LA for the album release, they were wearing the same outfits.
You want to see hilarious moments with these three sisters? You need to check out the Argentina Vlogs on their channel, specifically this : 'The Warning - ARGENTINA VLOG PT2 *Patreon Release' If you use that in the YT search it should bring up the proper video. This was the one that featured the infamous 'rice soup' incident, near the end. They were laughing so hard that Dany finally had to end it, promising that there would be a 'Part 3'.🤣 One of my favorite videos of all time from them!😄👍👍👍
Ale may be the baby, but you can tell she takes zero crap. You asked the wrong person, pretty much sums it up. I'm pretty sure Dany can ride a bike, hence the shot. Now, the merch, I want that DPA shirt. If you feel guilty, buy something from the band once in awhile and give it away.
There were more cards on the table than featured in the video. And apparently Pau took a drink that we didn't see, because only Ale had not by the end. Mighty curious about what that question was. Ale didn't shy from the F-bomb but she didn't originate it. FWIW. The ad in the middle was not RU-vid but part of the original video. Some reactors edited out the ads. Not sure how that will sit with Cut (the video sponsor), so maybe best you left it in. 🤷🏻♂
Regarding the original Warning merch, I don't know what legal stuff says, BUT, I don't care. I have seen some fans go ballisitic about it. But, in one interview, DPA were excited that they were, and I quote, "Worthy of fake merch!!!" 😂 I think maybe Email Rudy and ask if it's OK, or not OK. lol
If you do a live stream of "Keep Me Fed" let us know a few days in advance and I will be there for that. I really enjoy your reactions and a live stream would be a lot of fun.
The band maid warning collab vid , the pol and rock fest , wacken and you guys upload a short question and answer vid . At least should of uploaded a song performance too
I don't think fan club merch takes anything from the group, especially when it's not even close to anything the band sells. I love that DPA tee, for example, but if I bought one (shipping to the country where I spend most of my time would make that difficult), it wouldn't be instead of buying something directly from the band's website. And who's making money from "legit" merch? DPA? Who knows what percent, but no doubt it's far from every dollar. Back to the subject, this is so much fun, it's become the only thing other than music in my playlist LOL! Enjoy you guys!
Dumb merch question: Have you asked the band for their input? It’s likely they may grant license to original designs. I know that DPA thought it was funny, seeing fake merch all up and down the streets, in Mexico, but that’s also lost revenue potential, which could aid in making payroll, touring, equipment rental, advertising, etc..
Hey Scott!! I've asked but haven't heard back. Perhaps need to dust off the contacts and make sure I'm sending to the right place. We completely understand about the lost rev potential - definitely don't want to take away from what they deserve!!
If you search for trademarks for the Warning, the band-logo and name are protected under Luis Villarreal. My guess (!) is, if you don't use or resemble that, their counterfeits (don't know about names) or any original design they put out, you should be fine. Edit: This also applies to work that falls under copyright like lyrics, videos, pictures etc. Morally? Well, it's a grey zone. My opinion is, if you do general things or something the fans came up with, like DPA, the Mexican flag, Warning-Wednesday or The Warning Army(if you don't use the fan channels stuff), it would feel ok to me. But it's a mine field for sure and maybe just wait for the response of their management. They just toured a lot and maybe this month they have the time for this stuff. If your gutts tell you to be cautious I would listen to them. This should be a positive thing. To the fake-merch story, I would be cautious, also. It's a difference if you have these street merchants that are practically difficult to apprehend or prosecute or if you sell things online with your name and address. Btw, the designs are great! 🤟😄
@juniorsoares2617 : Nós gostamos!! Moramos em Arraial D'Ajuda, Brasil, por três meses, e achamos o português uma língua linda!! ;-) ___ We like it!! We lived in Arraial D'Ajuda, Brazil for three months, and find Portuguese to be a beautiful language!! ;-)
I like the merch you designed especially the one you mentioned but, I would try and find out if it was okay with The Warning people before putting it out. I thought in this video you got to see some of their personalities and how they interact with each other as sisters. This was funny and entertaining.🎸🤘🏻⚡️
Perhaps - I'll look into it! I wish I knew all this stuff immediately, but don't and am learning along the way (while trying not to get in trouble or anger anyone!!). Appreciate the advice, thank you kindly. ❤🥷🏻
A little surprised you went with this for today's reaction when the new Band Maid & The Warning collab Show Them just dropped yesterday. You have to check that one out!!
I know, Ryan!!! There was intention to this - but we promise, "Show Them" is coming next Wednesday!!!! Also - working on hosting our first LIVE stream of the entire album soon. Good stuff coming, promise!!
@@musikbyjh You will not be dissapointed. Also, loved your reaction to this super fun video of them just being sisters! You should also watch their Track by Track videos - especially the one for Consume, where they detail their parents' reaction to them swearing in a song!
This was a cool video; better than an interview in a lot of ways. As to the merch; I'm Not A Lawyer, but IP law (copyright, trademark, and patents) is an area of interest. I don't think you have a copyright issue since you have original designs, but there's enough of a trademark issue that I'd consider this a high-risk proposition. Even if you aren't using the exact marks of the band, there's a colorable argument that you're trading off of the band's fame and that a reasonable person would assume that this is authorized merch from the band. And by colorable argument, I mean there's enough that an aggressive company would take you to court. Even if they didn't win, you'd be out tens of thousands in legal expenses to defend yourselves. And in the US, most of the time, everyone pays their own fees, win or lose. Frankly, the best approach is to try to get some kind of license from the band/label/etc. The designs are cool, and I'd buy the DPA/MX flag in a heartbeat.
Thanks so much for your insight and guidance, Joe. Seriously, this was very helpful. We absolutely are NOT interested in pursuing merch if there is the potential for this kind of mess - honestly, we are here to support the band, not profit from them. We simply don't have the resources (namely, time) to deal with licensing - merch just isn't that important to us, despite how FUN and supportive our intentions may be. Reminds me of that old saying: "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". We choose to back down. Thanks again for the great advice. - jillian
Merch.. My though is as a consumer If I had say only $25 to spend Merch I would of course spend it on The Warning website but if I has $50 and I saw your design and loved it why not get both.
I don't see why you couldn't do the shirts, they're not intellectual property of the band or record label, I mean unless you straight up use their lightning bolt logo or band name logo, then that would be a problem for sure, otherwise I see no issue. Besides in one of their after-movie videos either in South America or Mexico City, people were outside the venue with counterfeit merchandise and the Girls thought that was cool. SOOO there's that. but then again who am I (definitely not a lawyer well versed on copyright material and Intellectual property). I'm just a huge fan of The Warning.
Regarding the merch. I personally wouldn't do it. In my opinion unauthorized merch has never been a good thing. I always think about how I would feel if I had a brand/business, and someone else started selling my name/brand what would I do? In the end, for me? Not a good look. Bottom line you're profiting off their name.
Thanks for this comment and we really do appreciate your thoughts. We definitely put ourselves in The Warning's shoes, and because of that took down our self-made designs. From a different perspective, what about fan clubs? In theory, our channel is just one more fan club of theirs - and so many fan clubs sell their own merch. For us, the key is focusing on sayings and our Warning Weds theme day, NOT any of their branding. BUT, our gut says steer clear. We just want to spread the love and fun, not create any friction or potential issue.
As far as the merch goes, I think you did the right thing by taking down the band shirts. Most of us know that Reactors can't make $$ of the band because of Copyright claims, but some reactors feel it's perfectly fine to make $$ of their Fans. IMHO.... if it isn't sold from the band &/or it's official affiliates, It's fake merch. Now the moral stance of this is, is it made for personal use, or was it made to sell for personal profit? I'm fine with personal use, IF I made it. If I made more than one, I would give it away, not sell it.
As always, excellent comment, @gmantw. THANK YOU!! The answer - and we want to make sure this is clear for everyone - *we 100% did not intend to profit from these gals*. Although we'd hope anyone watching this channel would already know our character (enough to know this goes against everything in our being), we get that folks are still learning us. The idea of the shirts was to have fun displaying sayings that we know and love from our channel's review of The Warning, AND to have fun gear to wear for the October show in Pomona. Lots and lots of people have been asking for merch for a while with some of these sayings. Also to note, our merch is priced MUCH lower than comparable merch with the hopes of getting our friends (all of you!) a good deal. To be honest, we barely break even, and have even thought about donating the little proceeds we do make to a charity The Warning supports in Mexico. IDK, at this point it just seems like more trouble than it's worth. We simply want to have fun celebrating our fav sisters. Thanks for helping us think through this, you champ! ❤🥷🏻
@@musikbyjh From your thoughts on the video, it was plain to see you was wanting to do it for the sake of community and comradery, and not as a side hustle to the Reaction channel. I just offered up my personal thoughts on the matter in general, and what I feel is right vs wrong. It's not pointing a finger at you, it's blanket statement. It's a cut throat world, and people are doing what they need to do to survive, and that gets harder to tell who is who in today's blurred society. At the end of the day, it's your world to make or break, not ours. 🫶
"Who's this guy?" That guy is promoting an authorized different version of the game that Dany, Pau, and Ale are playing. It's just like you guys promoting TW's unauthorized merch.
We’re not promoting any unauthorized merch. If you watched the video and listened, you would see that it’s not available for anyone to purchase, and all we were doing was ASKING peoples’ thoughts about FAN CLUB merch, not actual BAND merch. Big difference there. You definitely dont need to be so damn harsh there, Stepnie. Especially with inaccurate accusations. Clearly we’re not shady people, or we would have just done this without bringing it up. (Jeremy)
My question about the merch is. If you go to a concert and see these people selling merch on the sidewalks where the band is. Now the band makes no money nor the people that the band hires to make and sell the merchandise, so is this considered fake merch? I mean your t-shirt looked great, but I have no answer except you are making the money. God I sound so bad cause I like you guys and you sound honest enough and merch your is different than what TW looks like. If I was you I would look into it before selling. Good luck, I do like your designs.
We appreciate your words on this. Totally get it. The difference is, we’re not using anything that says “The Warning”. Nor their likeness. So we’re not actually using THEIR designs or anything like that. So it’s not quite “fake” merch. It’s actually original concepts and designs. Those people who sell fake merch at shows, use the band’s name and their pictures. So this is very different from that. This is more of ”fan club” type of stuff. We’d never use the bands name and actual designs to sell for ourselves. That would be very wrong. But our own designs, without the band’s name? Such a grey area.
To be honest I wouldn't sell The Warning merch. If you had merch that said "musik by Jeremy and Jill loves The Warning" that's seems ok. Merch with only The Warning on it. That what I consider "fake The Warning merch". Wear all your homemade The Warning merch but selling it seems different to me..
Agreed. That’s why in the video, you don’t see ANY merch that says “The Warning”. We’d never do that. Everything we came up with are original designs and concepts. Not taken from the band. Have you seen the examples we used? Nothing actually said “The Warning”. Or even their names…or an album name…or song names. Nothing like that. Totally agree that would not be good. (Jeremy)
I think any merch you produce should reflect your own identities. You've been establishing your own online brand for months now. Perhaps that's what you should concentrate on.
We have that stuff as well. But seeing as when we started doing Warning Wednesday, no other reactors were doing that. We did that for months on our own. So that’s something we created. So I think making merch for a show we created on our channel, isn’t really in THEIR likeness. Plus, we did the original design as well. It’s the DPA shirt that I think is the coolest, and has more to do with the ladies. It’s also something I don’t see them doing themselves, so none of the fans would ever get that. And lastly, donating proceeds to some charities for kids and music is also a win/win. It really helps everyone involved and gives fans something that they love, that they wouldn’t get from the band. (Jeremy)
I think it's wrong to sell merch with their name unless you share profits with The Warning. And yes you CAN get in trouble for selling merch with their name WITHOUT their permission. I can personally tell you that we as The Army frown upon third party sellers selling ANY merch with their name. Please DO NOT do it.
We aren’t using their name. Not sure if you looked at the examples in the video, but none of it says “The Warning”. So far, we’ve gotten some pretty supportive comments on this though. Which is awesome. We’d never make “fake” merch with a band’s name on it. (Jeremy)
@hardknox1917 typically bands don’t license fan club merch. It’s independent. Unless the bands run their own fan club. Which, that’s not the case here. Also, the band didn’t create Warning Wednesday. So it’s not how you describe it. (Jeremy)
First of all, STOP TALKJNG WHILE THEYRE TALKING! In the past, I've quit listening to your reactions because you cause us to miss something, AND i watch YOU miss important stuff. Ugh. If you must say something, stop the video. Still looking forward to meeting you guys in Pomona.
Totally feel you on that Charles. Jeremy here. And when I was watching reactions all the time, I stopped watching people because they stopped every other second to say something, rather than letting things play (it also made the videos SO long that way). We all consume things differently. If we stopped every time we had something to say, someone would comment that we stop too much to talk. Or we could save it for the end, but then we’d forget the things we wanted to say. We try our best, but it’s very hard to make everyone happy. Glad you’re still around, and looking forward to meeting you as well!
@musikbyjh I watched a guy yesterday who stopped the song 7 times in the first minute. I did not watch the rest of his reaction. Lol. I don't have a problem with stopping the song now and then. After all, it's a reaction, right? But talkjng over it seems ciubterintuitive if you're going to give a meaningful reaction. For example. You guys were talking when I au let out her primal scream during Evolve, and you almost missed it. Thank you for responding and I really am a fan, and I do look forward to meeting you guys and Ashlena in Pomona! I live near Barstow.
So this is a reaction video right? And we come here to see and HEAR your reactions right, because we are genuinely interested in what you have to say... SO WHY THE FRIG DO YOU INSIST ON TALKING OVER THE VIDEO!?!?! There's nothing wrong with hitting pause to say what you want to say... More than a few times you guys crushed what the girls were saying by talking over... Please, just hit pause if you have something to say and rewind the five or so seconds. I love you guys BUT this is really frustrating. Sorry for the rant...
Thanks for this - important reminder to us. We try hard to get it right, but don't always succeed. Sorry to piss you off on Warning Wednesday...bummed! :( ❤️🥷🏻
