@@PaleHorseShabuShabu Delay, chorus, reverb and more. She's got her Kemper profiler pedalboard with her. She has top of the line gear and she knows how to use it!
Musicians and non-musicians, try singing lead, playing lead guitar, and navigating a pedalboard simultaneously to understand the remarkable challenge - Dany is a beast.
Ale's funky bass line... Dany's awesome vocals... wow! Pau can wear sunglasses and play inside a glass chamber in the backround and still she has much more stage presence that most other drummers😀 love her expressions (and playing) here!
Literally, the more I listen to The Warning the more blown away I am by their talent. I don't want to be hyperbolic but they're a once in a generation band.
@@ogmius2001 I didn't want to make that comparison but I honestly feel the same way re: Rush. I know they're not as good of musicians - yet - but they're what? 19, 22, and 24? In 6 years...who knows where they'll be. Pau has said her fav. drummer is Neal and Dany has said David Gilmour and Lifeson among others and Ali...well, she can play anything. Really love the band, the authenticity, and IDC how good of musicians they are - they have something special when they play together - it's undeniable.
@@MrWorldasmaya fully agree. Rush (first album) is light years away from the art that is 2112 or hemispheres. I am excited to see how these young people evolve
Dave Navarro and flea are top notch studio musicians and for these girls to rip it up like this says a lot. TW rolling now, the next album will be pure fire.
@@mikecumbo7531 Javier Paniagua's interview revealed that the Teatro Metropolitan concert was the turning point that made the stage feel familiar, thereby boosting her confidence as a vocalist and lead performer
Sandman blew up, this, is an explosion of even a bigger proportion. The musicianship is absolutely sublime. No wonder we’ve all fallen for DPA. They are the zenith of rock.
This is the first cover they have done in years. Dani nailed it. How she continues to belt out those incredible high notes night after night on tour, and then still has the time to learn this awesome cover is mind-blowing. 💕🎶💕🎶💕❤️
100%! People haven't really picked up on that as much as I'd expect. The first studio cover in 3 years, since Enter Sandman, and that was a full reimagining of the song. Before that, Metallica's 'Atlas Rise' and Nirvana's 'Breed' live in... 2019. So a long time, and this is a big thing! And of course they did it incredibly and made it their own!
The most talented band in the world...every song is a winner....I"ve never since this before...back in the day you were lucky if an album had 4 good songs on it!
When you can make an Alanis song sound so good no-one misses Alanis’ rather unique voice, you are unique. And a special mention for the kick ass bass work!
Whether The Warning plays this song 1 more time or 100 mote times live. this is what it will sound like every time. These young ladies are simply amazing
If they would put this out as a single it would flood the airways. I was around 30 when the original came out and really didnt grab my attention. The passion Dany delivers in the vocals. Pau is simple cool back there making her little faces, and Ale laying down an exceptional bass line.
@@davidrees4218 Yes, they aren't trying to cash in with this, just like their 2014 "Enter Sandman." Even so, this will definitely add to their legend. They are always all about the music.
Damn that was epic. I knew Dany was a powerful singer, but she's gone to the Nexus level. I love the vibe Ale brings with the bass lines, she is so smooth and that funk is outstanding. Pau with her shades on and the rhythms fill up the room, but as fan of The Warning will tell you no Plexi barrier can hold that girl back!!! I know the original song by Alanis was huge in the 90s and all about her bad breakup with Dave Coulier, but there is something The Warning can bring to the cover that just makes it better than the original (like their version of Enter Sandman). Originals or covers Dany, Ale and Pau are the truest representation of rock we'd had in 40 + years. By the way you can tell this was recorded a while back because Pau's hair was shorter (it' nearly as long as it was before she cut it).
What? What?! A cover!!? :) Soft Dany. That's right in her wheelhouse. Great song for them, awesome! If they start breaking out big hit surprise covers at their shows, they're going to be carrying out people on stretchers. What. A. Band.
I think this is the best cover to them ever ....really strong, powerfull, Ale play this bass lines fantastic, Pau incredible always, Dany and your Amazing voice woow so epic, damm .....🤟😎🖤⚡♨️🇲🇽
Exactly. They have mastered the art of maximizing what they can in accomplish in a 24 hour time period which in turn allows them time to perfect practicality everything they do.
I swear these girls are going to kill me one day!! 🤯🤯🤯 One of my favorite song of Alanis Morriset played by The Warning!! COME ON!! 😵😵💫 plus, Ale bass line was AWESOME, Danny vocals, and Pau´s smooth drums were INSANE!! I wish all the world get so know them 🤗😚😚😚
At 19 years old, she's quite accomplished. Opened for The Killers at 13. Opened for Foo Fighters at 16. Toured with Muse at 17. Going to see her and hers sisters tonight opening for Evanescence in Quebec City
These ladies are absolute pro musicians! Dany’s voice has matured beautifully. Ale’s bass skills are no surprise-she’s got that jazz training. Pau’s timing and laid-back vibe are spot-on. Loving the '90s vibes! I really hope Alanis Morissette gets to hear this.
You have Dany cleaning up *"You Oughta Know".* Pau cleaned up *"Creep".* From a band that had a complete album about a psychotic murder/suicide woman & have no problem singing *"little fvckers"* on their new song *"Consume".* 😂😂😂 Oh yeah. Family friendly. 😊😂😂😂 These girls 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@kevinthetruckdriver353 Terrible cover. Alanis made this her own, it's one of the most unique vocal performances in rock. Dany does not have the voice to do this justice . Total Fail.
@@marlew6629 It's personal taste. I dislike the original, because I don't like her voice at all. This sounds much better to me. It's not a total fail however.
Weeeeeeerey!!!
Simple question… Why are they doing covers? Not that I mind, they are just proving to the world that they can play any genre they choose, to perfection. Literally everything they do is 100% top tier! LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Alanis Morissette is Canadian, they're currently on a Canadian tour with Hailstorm and Evanescence...so, idk, but a reasonable assumption is it has to do with being in Canada. Hell, they can play anything and nothing is bad. And I think Morissette is from Ottawa and they're there on Monday soooo - it's smart. Rudy is no fool.
@@tay13666 Don't listen to what I say lol. I thought they went down to NY, from Canada, to perform this for one of the siriusXM channels and then head back up to Canada - it's not very far. They performed on SiriusXM before but yeah - not the same performance.
@@MrWorldasmaya It's possible. But judging from Pau's hair length in the video, I am willing to put money on them recording this back at the beginning of the US tour. I think it is just now being released. Much like the Vivo videos that came out a few weeks after the recordings happening.
For one thing this song lets Ale and Pau really groove in a way that’s outside of what The Warning are doing. Ale in particular really needs that outlet.
'"Make out with' you in a theatre" and "when you 'touch' her"🤣 Love the radio-friendly censoring. Everyone did great, of course, Dany belted the hell out of that vocal line, and Ale made being funky look like sitting casually at the kitchen island while chatting with whoever is cooking, but goddamnit, could Pau look any cooler, all alone in her perspex(?) cage?
Wow, can't believe it, my favorite Alanis' song, thought TW would never do another cover, but it was a great choice. Alanis had great musicians for this, last week watch her live performance for this one on Letterman, was great.
1:52 Remplazaron decir "When you fvck her" a "When you touch her", Mony les regaña por eso lo cambiaron jajajja ok no, pero que gran canción y sin duda la interpretaron super bien, esta banda es increíble.
