Why can't the young players improve to a place where they can help carry the team? Curry, Thompson, and Green had to grow into what they are. When it comes to the current team, emotions have to be removed. Thompson isn't worth what he wants. They never should have extended Draymond. Curry is still playing at a high level, but for how long? The rebuild must start at some point. In order to rebuild, you must destroy. Curry, Draymond, and the young players need to be the focus. Even with Klay, the team isn't a contender. Time to transition.

If they run this back .. I’m done with the Warriors. I said they were going to make us think they were going to get better but settle on giving the big three a landing strip to end their careers together. Lacob is scared of the tax. But if you’re scared to spend sell the team to someone who wants to pay for a winning roster. But don’t patronize the fans. The owners voted for this and now act like they want to win but you can’t do both.

YALLL NEED TO OPEN UP THOSE COMMENTS ON THOSE KLAY VIDEOS YOU MADE ON THE WEEKEND. They should have NEVER given DRAYMOND the money they gave him….he was NEVER worth $100 million over 4 years, in his mid 30’s. Warriors put themselves in a bind with Klay, when they gave Green that contract….Klay HAS DELIVERED 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS….the Warriors couldn’t make the playoffs without him. So that’s why he’s worth his contract. Restructure Curry’s contract. Klay would have probably taken a pay cut if Draymond wouldn’t have opened his big mouth, but he can’t help him self. The Warriors COULD NOT make the playoffs without Klay, you don’t have a choice but to pay him. And get Steph to restructure…..that’s all you can do….but you CANT KEEP DRAYMOND….AND NOT PAY KLAY. Y’all are KRAZY to think Klay isn’t as good as he once was….HE WAS NOT THAT BAD LAST YEAR! Y’all are ungrateful he literally is the 2nd best shooter in the history of the NBA! You all have crucified him day in and day out….I’d leave too!

You’re right, they should’ve let Draymond test free agency and then match what other teams offer. It would likely be 15-20 per year vs 25. They consistently choose Draymond even though it makes no sense.

Context matters the the warriors in 2021 was tide with the 6th seed before curry got hurt. And in 2022 the warriors were the 2nd best team with a top 2 defense without Klay. And you can’t use that klay argument in 2020 because nobody was on that team. Klay stunk up the room in back to back postseasons . He’s not worth a big contract anymore and especially over draymond who’s been available since 2020.

I hate to disagree with you but there's no way to can stay Where they are. and be competitive. They need to make some changes to the team in order to be competitive. The league had just caught up with what they're doing and it will not work anymore. They gotta make some changes.

Thats if thtey keep chris paul which we all know theyre not going to. Your statement is a little over dramatic. When paul is gone and they trade for wiggins they have plentry of room to make some moves, especially if they trade wiggins to a young team for some cheap young talent and maybe a lottery pick and clear up some cap space. If they can do that, keep klay for pretty cheap for a 3 year deal like he wants and sign someone like paul George for a lower value then what hes getting now i think were in pretty good position especially if the young guys on the team are better than last year.

Hows that?? To say the warriors cant make any moves is clearly wrong cause they can trade whoever they want even if they get nothing in return for them. They can trade curry for some scrub if they want to, so to say they cant make any moves is clearly false. Please explain what you mean.
