The Warriors will be BIG PLAYERS this Offseason 

Sound like we have to tear it down and tank to do all that

Resign Klay at 3y/$25mil Trade Wiggins & CP3 for Demar & Craig Draft a NBA ready Big Zach Edey or Ruben Prey that can start or come off bench mi CJ like Lively & TJD last year. This big needs to be able to drive in the paint, set screens, Defend, and REBOUND! Or they’ll be leaning into TJD as starting Big & Looney off bench. They’ll be under the tax with all these moves.

The idea would be trading Wiggins + young players + picks for a star.

@@aaa4181 you think Moody in/Wiggins out wins less than the 25-12 the W's did down the stretch? Esp assuming we get a decent big with the MLE? Not saying a 1 seed, but 4-6 seems possible. And San Antonio won't be better to the playoffs and the Lakers prob not top 10 again

You're crazy if you think that Klay is going to take $12 mil and be ok with just that. He had a bad season but I know he's at least going to try (and he deserves) to get $20 mil somewhere. I think its best for both parties as unpopular as it is for the fanbase for both Klay and the Warriors to move on from each other. He's not the great defender he was any more. He still has some pop on offense but is very inconsistent against good teams. His 15-25 attempts a game will benefit one of the younger guys who can actually make athletic moves on the team.

With the Warriors cap situation and the new rules, they must get to at least the first apron, if not under the cap all together. If klay wants 20 million he’s going to have to go. I’m not even sure the Warriors can afford 12 million. But the Warriors will want Clay to come off the bench for 20 to 25 minutes again. He is going to continue to be diminishing returns defensively and even for offensive flow. All he can do is spot up at this point, he super effective at that. The ray Allen role. But to someone who’s already made 200 million, the question he asked to ask himself is does he want to go out with his boys and try and reclaim the championship or does he want to go to a team that’s desperate but will start him and never sniff a championship? I think he may choose to stay because he doesn’t really have any records in front of him to break. So there really isn’t much legacy building to do. He’s not going to be top 20 scoring all time and he’s already locked up great Hall of Fame stats. Coming off the bench is not going to harm any of that and if anybody understands happiness over money I’d say it is klay. If he chooses to go, I think the Warriors will be able to replace him with a three and D guy at the mid-level exception. A little less but a lot more D, so the Warriors I think would win either way on that transaction. The off-season issue is how to unload Wiggins.
