The show doesn't emphasize enough (now or in seasons to come) how much Cirsei fears that prophesy -- especially after Joffrey becomes king and then dies. Cirsei suspects that Margaery is the 'young queen" from the prophesy who will cause her ruination. That is a big motivation for Circei's actions and the root of many of her fears.

Love watching your journey through The Seven Kingdoms! Jon didn't just kill Mance to end his suffering early, but exactly as Mance said, he'd be screaming and burning in front of his people, so Jon gave him that peace, no-one got to see him scream.

The ideal coffee contains 2 tsp cream and 2.5 tsp of sugar in a large mug like you've got there Kev. Different size of mug and you'd need to rejigger the ratio.

Another fantastic reaction Kev. I know I am not the first to say this but if your having trouble having to reupload these videos have another look at 10.30 mins (following White Rats murder) - it might be at bit much for the platforms content T's & C's. PS - the Villa in Pentos that Tyrion and Varys arrive at is (I think) Magister Illyrios - where we first met Daenerys, Viserys and Drogo way back in S1 EP1 'Winter is Coming'.

The end of season 4 cut out a huge plot point from the books that I think is super important. If you plan on reading or listening to the books (highly recommended) then ignore this so you don't get spoiled: . . . . *Spoilers for the books* In the book, after he frees Tyrion, Jamie decides to confess a long-kept secret: Tyrion's first wife Tysha wasn't actually a whore hired by Jamie, Tywin made Jamie tell Tyrion that. While the scene ends with brotherly affection in the show, the confession absolutely unhinges Tyrion. He hits Jamie then lies and tells him that he did kill Joffrey after all, then tells him about all the other guys Cersei has been sleeping with, and promises that Jamie will pay for this if they meet again. That interaction haunts both of the characters throughout the next two books and sends them on very different paths than what you see in this episode. Jamie starts to pull away from Cersei and become more of his own person, and Tyrion grows more angry and vengeful, and also sad as he thinks about Tysha constantly. They both just sort of fall into being general "good" guys from here on out in the show so it is really disappointing to me that they stripped away this plot point that added so many complexities.

Why would you think that bleeding out would be a good way to die? I mean The Hound begged Arya to kill him. You missed that part. Most people would want a fast death, not to linger and suffer in pain for who knows how long. Animals are put down for a similar reason. They say that if you live a life of violence you tend to die the same way, or some such.

Mance makes no sense: "I don't want my men to fight for you so I won't bend the knee because if I do, they won't follow me when I fight for you".

It makes perfect sense. If Mance bends the knee, none of the rest of the Free Folk will fight for him, they'll just go off on their own. What makes no sense is that he is expected to bend the knee in order to be "allowed" to help.

@@reverbscherzo7850 Mance's decision makes no sense. He could bend and see his people desert him after coming south, which is what he wants. Then he could turn to Stannis and say "sorry, told you, but I'm happy to try and convince them if you let me go ;)". Instead he decides to die to keep them behind the Wall.

I've been noticing that you're always making a comment on scenes with male nudity, something along the lines of "don't show this to me / I don't want to see that". I wonder where this originates from. As a heterosexual man, I can imagine that seeing a male body wouldn't be particularly exciting but I would expect more like indifference over discomfort or rejection.

My first guess would be that, in "situations of intimacy", any other male in the vicinity might be considered competition or a threat. Perhaps that is why it's not uncommon for men to feel uncomfortable or uneasy around nudity of other males.

S4 remains the best GoT ending for me. Like you and everyone else there was still so much left of the books to explore, rich in politics and back stabbing, most especially in the North and Dorne and a whole hugely important plot line completely left out which the show runners could and should have introduced this season. The show should have been at least 10 seasons, 10 episodes each, even if some actors had to be replaced. HBO offered it with help from additional writers. D&D refused, never forget that as GoT descends into nothing making any sense, plot holes and plot armour galore. Strap in for the spectacular and incredible acting given mostly the worst scripts ever in the entire show.

idk ab all that lol... aryas journey/character growth is pretty good to watch and battle of the bastards is a great scene and so is hardhom( i think its hardhom where the wildlings are gathered) there still some good stuff down the line but season 8 was a flop 100%
