Yes, it is OTAs. But we have had a lot of bad QB play in OTAs, and people said, don't worry. I should have worried. Hearing good reports about QBs might not mean much, but it means a lot to my psyche.

lot of reason to be excited, but they're playing with house money this season. Give it one more year, one more off-season to patch holes in free agency and the draft, get this talented rookie class a season of seasoning under their belt... they'll really be ready to make some noise in 2025-26.

If you look at the past 30 years of poor drafting, poor QB play, poor coaching and poor ownership the list gets very short, only 5 teams were this consistently horrible for THREE DECADES: WAS, CLE, DET, OAK and ARZ come to mind. DET is turning it around and WAS will follow next I believe. Two critical factors for success are COMPETENCE and CULTURE!!!!!

i get it. i'm a washington fan and i wanted JD above anyone else and i fully believe he'll be our franchise QB for years. but the JD overhype for certain people is so dumb lol. acting as if this dude was the ideal situation from the beginning. if you want to share your opinion, cool, but quit acting like you're seeing something that others aren't. "believe what your eyes what are telling you"...what heisman winning QB came into training looking average or below? even though you used it as an example of people writing JD off, it LITERALLY is just OTAs. it's practice. why would anyone with even an ounce of common sense think that the reigning heisman winner would look bad during OTAs? It's also incredibly telling that you're saying one of the worst teams in the league is looking "scary". engagement farming at its finest.
