Shut up and take my money !!! lol absolutely love your products!!! I’m just gonna start signing over my pay checks to your sir ..... thanks for sharing and kudos on a out standing product!!
You really want that 16" back! ( I saw your comment on the other Waterbag video) I've got the medium in Tobacco, and love it. By far my favorite piece. We don't really say never here, so it could happen.. -William
My medium tobacco arrived today, really chuffed with it and will primarily be used in backpack mode and for the plane carry on. Really supple leather makes wearing it on the back very comfortable 👌
When should the Tabacco med waterbag be in Stock? Would you go large or med? Is dave's fav color the chestnut? I'm also looking at getting a passport sleeve for 38 dollars in any color. Any ideas on availability? Thanks for your help. You guys have been awesome entertaining my questions. I'm a pauper with king taste and have been saving for this for a while. I just want to make sure I am picking the right stuff. Thanks again.
I'm new to leather work I have a 2005 chevy Blazer that i have custom painted " Rootbeer " and have done Walnut burl venner on the door switches and handle backing like the done on Bently and Rolls royce I have hand sewn canvas type cloth for seats in the passed on another car However this time i wish to try out leather for the seats and doors I seen your work and it truly stands out from alot of other videos posted I like the style I'm looking for a texture and color to match the feel of the truck Something weathered and bits of stain black rubbed here and there being darker near the stiching so the Copper colored stich stands out alittle ether in this type of leather or pigskin any pro's or cons? Thanks ! Keep up the great work !
I want to make a bag that looks like this but it’s for offshore work. When we load up on crew boats our stuff is subject rain and sea spray for up to hours. You have any ideas on water proofing or serious water resistant finishes and designs?
This is a very very nice bag, only issue with this bag is.....the bag itself is very very very heavey!! Think abt the weight when u pack it up for wkend or few days travel..who is gonna hold this bag? I bought myself a medium classic briefcase...it is sitting in the store room and never been used when I noticed how heavey it is.
Every single saddleback leather bag is beautiful, and every single bag is heavey as hell. I still browse their website quite often just trying to find a bag i love and light weight.
Hey Dat, we have some books of the Bible and US Constitutions being built in Texas, but that's it right now. We will continue to grow that over time. Most of our leather goods are made at our factory in Old Mexico Manufacturing in León. I hope you'll try us out, and let us know if you have questions. Thanks! -William
Hi there Dat. Dave here. We have made some of the bags in Texas for sure. This one in particular. But not anymore. We were having a tough time getting the consistent quality like we do with our craftsmen in Mexico. Takes years to develop that.
We wanted to thin out the product line a bit; lots of SKU's. I saw your comment on the other Waterbag video. We could bring the large back. The Waterbag's are classics. I have the medium size and it's my favorite bag of all time. -William
Is the leather on the Love 41 products the same leather used at Saddleback? I realize we are talking about different cows, so maybe I should be asking about the process of making the leather and such.
We use varying thicknesses of full grain leather for different products; you have to for functionality. Our leather is either Chrome or vegetable tanned. Both Love 41 and Saddleback use full grain leather, which is the nicest, most expensive, and durable type of tanned leather there is. Love 41 leather is typically a little thinner and softer, so it's very comfortable and nice to the touch. Love 41 designs are still incredibly strong and stronger than 90% of leather goods companies out there. That's why they have a 41 year warranty. They use the same thread and pigskin lining (which is tougher than cowhide) that we do, and they use premium hardware. My wife has used her Bucket Bag and Lana Overnight Bag for years, and they've only gotten better. I hope this helps. -William
