This video shows you how to get to the Wave, Buckskin Gulch and the Paria River slow canyons coming in from the north. This is more of a "how to" video rather than just a tour of the areas amazing features. You can also enter Houserock Road from the south, although few people use that route.. It also looks at the trail to the Wave, and some of the other spots in the area. All of these areas require BLM Permits. The Wave requires you enter a lottery to get one of the only 64 permits issued per day. As of June 2024, this is the current system. There are 48 daily permits issued 4 months in advance. They are only issued online. There are also 16 daily permits issued two days in advance. These can only be obtained using a smart phone from within a certain nearby area.
