Karma to Karma from what I've seen, no. not with bts anyways. where I'm from liking kpop is almost immediately associated with girls, which is unfortunate because I've known some fanboys, and they've been bullied because they've liked bts. And I mean, for example, when bts arrives somewhere via plane and they're in the airport lobby, usually a huge crowd of fans arrive. and judging by what I've seen, they're mostly female.

Tae is seriously so sweet I went to their concert and I'm a guy. My friend and I stood very close to the stage and Tae came over to our side I made flying kisses towards him and suddenly he saw me, stood still and just stared at me for a few seconds until he smiled brightly at me. I thought my heart will explode I'll forever be thankful for this day!

I never really had the courage to go to any of their performances, people might think I'm weird or that I'm just some girl's boyfriend who got forced to go. Like no! I am a genuine fan! I am just new to this. I just got interested in Kpop a few days ago. I was conflicted between girl groups or boy groups, then I saw BTS. Then my bi ass turned gay for Jungkook and V. Thanks a lot.
I went to the concert in NJ last month and I was happy to see many boys. The BTS boys are very open minded and they love their fans, male or female, equally. You can see videos here from boys who attended the concert and they were noticed by BTS, J-Hope was even smiling at one of them.

Aminah Abdul-Rahim the sad truth is that girls are more common to be vocal fans of something no matter what the gender of the singer/actor etc is without people looking down at them or thinking it's weird. It's stupid but society thinks a "fangirl" is expected but a "fanboy" should be looked down upon. Think that even if it's a girl group people will still think a boy being a fan of them is weird.
