Kurt made the greatest point about football games. It’s actually impossible to please everyone in terms of gameplay, half of people want slow realistic gameplay, the other half want arcadey fast gameplay. Unfortunately EA did neither and created a piece of trash with goofy animations
Yeah its a really good point. I know everyone talks about wanting fast gameplay but I think they're wrong. They want responsive gameplay, not fast. Fast is the reason you can't actually play real football, because they close in on you at mach 5.
If you make a game for everyone you please no one. The most successful gaming IP’s have always made their games for a specific target audience without giving any fucks about the rest. Obviously this is a no no for eaids they only care about numbers.
All EA have to do is remake the classic 7 fifas with the upgraded graphics it’s not difficult bring back divs with the old matchmaking system then get smoked off players with higher skill then u smoke players than your better than now it is the opposite and that causes a lot of the frustration
there is only one thing you can do to get back at EA, and it has nothing to do with FC24. Fc24 is finished. Ppl are invested already if they haven't quit back with Messi 0.7% bs, But if you really want to do something, dont buy FC25. I'm 1 for sure, thumbs up if your another 👍

KSI is the reason I (and I’m sure many others) got into FIFA at a young age. While he doesn’t create content anymore, it might be worth a shot reaching out to him to speak out. His pull is massive and the impact of him speaking on the gambling aspect of store packs will reach the larger media outlets.
tbf, ive been positively surprised by how much of an impact it made pretty soon, the amount of videos and everything from the smallest creators ever etc was genuinely surprising to me and atleast ensures that ea realizes that there is a real threat for a big group of people to band together against them since theyve pushed it so far

They can probably be sued for not putting up proper pack odds. A store pack will say 30% chance for TOTS. But what TOTS!??. They need to have odds shown for each individual player. It’s way too ambiguous and people are spending money while being misled. We know Mbappe is not weighted at 30%, so we need to know the weight before making the choice to open the pack

I usually don't comment or like videos, but this is truly amazing! I had to comment and like that video. EA is the biggest scam! You could start a petition, and I'd be the first to sign it just to bring this company down. I'm so upset about all of their changes. How could they give me Salah with all these nice traits, and then just a week later remove them or make changes so you can't use them? It's like buying a Bugatti, and then a week later they call you saying, 'By the way, that's a Toyota.' Not to mention the money and time we have been putting into their game.

That’s a fair point to make, but in reality these sites don’t fund EA it’s individuals selling coins from their accounts is usually how that works cuts EA out completely

Played my very first game since 18 today because my brother told me I needed to see. I won the game but my thoughts after it were how on earth was this allowed be released in such a shoddy state? Money has deffo gone in the right pockets at launch to give good reviews because any one with any sense can see that game needs pulling from every outlet going and then I hear they’ve put it on for free because they are losing players at an incredible rate. That company has no shame whatsoever in the off chance of some poor gamer stumbling on that free game and getting addicted. The rules to the “gambling” buying points need serious revamping similar to that country what have banned them. They have been allowed to roam free with it and now action needs to be taken because these are very dangerous people we are dealing with here obvs because they care naught for people’s mental health nor small kids.

I just started playing fc 24 since it’s free on ps+ I’m strictly f2p and refuse to spend money only really grinding objectives. Glad to see Nick taking a stand it’s exactly how I’ve felt for years but I don’t have nearly as much of a platform so he’s voicing most of our concerns

I watched many fifa content creators. You 2 are the only ones I still watch. It's also my last year. I had enough. But its healing to know its not me. I used to be top 200 and now I get robbed left and right. And I'm done playing more defensive every year. This game is the park the bus Olympics now. And real football has the same problem.

There’s multiple legal routes we could look into (specifically UK): GDPR: legally, you are not allowed to collect data on children under 13. Yet EA definitely does, and allows children to spend money. We could create a template to report to the Data Protection Authority in the U.K. and EU member states. GDPR: we could all make “right to access” requests to EA under the GDPR which would cost huge amounts to respond to, otherwise they would be liable for very large fines. Digital identification: EA does not even ask for any consent/identification requirements to open packs. This does not meet minimum standards for protecting children against gambling, or even for having their data collected. We could create a template to report to the Gambling commission or DPA. So, for the auto drop back part, I think I relatively understand what's happening in the game and why it happens. So, about 2 years ago in fifa 22 when they made the full switch to new gen, they advertised a "realistic back line" feature, where it's a uniform line that moves like in real life, so, what I think is the issue, is the way they coded that. They most likely coded it so that the player models are all connected to each other on defense, so if one moves into the box, they ALL do, which causes every single defender to pack the box, because they don't have a line of code that tells them that they can seperate from eachother.
