I took mine to the Apple Store even when my warranty wasn't valid anymore and demanded a new phone cause it was the second time they gave me a phone with the same problem. I cause a commotion and they gave in pretty much lol.

Correct - the IC chip is not properly seated onto the motherboard which is causing the flickering and the loss of touch. You can tell this by putting pressure on opposite corners of the phone and it will temporarily fix the problem. I preformed the fix today and the phone is working again with no issues. For anyone trying to do this, you need to order a 0.8 pentalobe star driver (amazon) to be able to open the phone. There are many videos on RU-vid about how to replace your battery, so just follow one of them to see about getting your phone open safely. Once you get the screen open there is a little metal shield that covers the IC chip where he stuck the green piece of rubber. You have to take take it off with a mini phillips screw driver and then you can (very carefully) lift the board enough to slide a little piece of rubber under it. I used some fine tipped tweezers to get the rubber in place and then you're ready to put it back together. Put the metal shield and tiny screws back on and then snap the screen into place. If you have done this correctly, after you tighten the two pentalobe screws your screen should be fully functioning again. Good luck!

thanks for answering my question!. But based on what ive seen on on other videos they still had to use a heat gun to uncover the processor..(i just wanna clarify that i know the touch ic on the backside of the logic board is covered with a peelable sticker)im just making sure :)

i used no heat gun to solve my problem.... and i have my second video to back it up, and in my case... my second video FIX my problem permanently.

Or... you can just sold it to some one stupid enough to buy that crappy phone....... lol

Yup, i know there’s a risk we had to deal, so if you’re not a person that used to tear down gadgets, i sugest not doin it by ur self...... camera flickers used to be Conection problem, but if the problem stays after the reconection, then it probably camera hardware problem.

If u plan to took out the Logic Board .... no need tu take off the batery.... but if taking off the battery make you more comfie, tgen took it off.
