I started reading this series when it was mentioned on a previous video of yours, and I can't thank you enough for bringing this to my attention! This is now my fav series right alongside My Love Story. Both series feature an unlikely soft guy, which is my most favourite trope.

It took some getting used to the anime, but apparently, the producer said the limited animation was done on purpose to resemble a motion comic. I also heard the creator of the manga only agreed to it being adapted to animation if it was done that way.
I ended up watching the anime because of this video tysm:) Unfortunately I was too impatient to read the manga first but I already ordered it and I'm really excited for it! You talk about it so excitedly that I was equally excited to read it:))

I loved the first volume but was worried it would get a bit stale. I'll probably put off reading more a bit longer, but I'm glad to hear that you feel that Kousuke Oono keeps things fresh by bringing in new characters.

The show is so hilarious; I'm sad the anime was so short, so I'll have to pick up the manga. Is Gin the cat in the manga, because he is adorable and so dumb. Tatsu's facial expressions are horrifying most of the time. LOL It's so funny and ridiculous, a great chill out anime for sure.

I really enjoyed the manga. I loved that the stories were so short and somewhat disjointed? It felt like a slice of life but with so much humour and it was just my kind of humour. So much intensity about random stuff without any real high stakes. 😆 The anime on the other hand... I thinks it's cool they tried something I haven't seen done before but boi did I disliked it.
Definitely more interested in the manga. I watched 2 episodes of the anime and did not enjoy it. The art style & the way it was shown (it was a like a slideshow) really threw me off
