Honestly i agree because what is there to seek in this world exactly? Nothing really nothing which exactly why I love videos games and cartoons to escape reality.
It’s not about seeking in this world you need to seek in yourself and dive in, everything you truly need is internal and no external thing can fill that void. Games cartoons and etc are to escape yourself, at some point you will outgrow that passage and realize it’s doesn’t feel same as years ago, but mind will always try to trap you, to find other things that are enjoyable to escape, escape from yourself again. More you face yourself, your traumas and fears, better your life will become and stronger your character, otherwise it’s just going on circles, like living with your eyes closed, but what do i know, it’s just my personal opinion and experience.
