I do not abjectly know how I ran into this very timely message, for I am struggling with living away from home ! I invoke Allah to lead every Muslim to His limitless guidance.
Ameen you reflected beautifully and succinctly a great mystery that our Prophet Sayyadina Muhammad SAWS has inherited to us. How to be in a world and use and be grateful of it's gift's. And yet also see our responsibility to our creator to be responsible and use those gift's as blessings the way Allah Azza Wa Jal intends us. Without getting overly attached and ultimately imprisoned by them by replacing the gifts with Allah Azza Wa Jal. Pain avoidance plays into the meshing of us deeper into the matrix like world by losing sight, as Allah Azza Wa Jal intends. Allah help us forgive us and bless you!🕯️✨🤲🏻🌹🕊️ Shukr
Baraka Allahu feekum for another much needed reminder. Yes, we are just travellers who are doomed to leave this world one day. Capitalism makes us forget about this reality. We are so trapped into materialism and delusioned by the whims of this life that Ali may Allah bless his soul describes as follow: " فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا، فانها بالبلاء محفوفة، و بالفناء معروفة، و بالغدر موصوفة، و كل ما فيها الى زوال، وهي بين أهلها دول وسجال، لا تدوم احوالها، و لا يسلم من شرها نزالها، بينما اهلها منها في رخاء وسرور اذا هم منها في بلاء و غرور، احوال مختلفة، و تارات منصرفة." Despite all what we know about this dounya, our hearts still cling to it so dearly. Subhana Allah. May Allah forgive us all. Wassalamu alaykum wa rahmatu’llah.
excellent 5 minute tazkirah bro...one of the positive side of covid 19 pandemic, is that it serve as a massive open university course in minimalism : a prerequisite to being a ' salik ', a traveller. i enjoy your short snippets bro. kudos to shaykh abdal hakim and team for presenting the right islam in the west. not caught up with ' ablution phase islam ' and petty querrels as in the rest of the majority muslim hinterland....insyaallah.
