Roberto Ibanez de Garayo i see a lot of people interested in the nets this year because theyre doing better... so are all of them bandwagoners too then? people who have no bias against a team always love to see a come from behind effort. its the reason you see a lot of people (most everyone) pick the 1 seed in the ncaa tournament but when theyre watching the game they really cheer for the 16 seed to win. if the team you support wasnt in the playoffs that year, not you specifically but anyones, then chances are once the warriors started to look like they could beat the mavs people joined in to route for them even though they werent "true" fans

Yeah their old owner gms even coaches sucked...they literally made 1 playoffs from 1995-2012 and won 1 playoff series between 1993 and 2012 and won 0 playoff gamea between 1993 and 2006....still the fans sold out and came despite many mistakes in free agency trades and bad signings...their fans deserved a dynasty after all those years losing....seriously....

Just like d wade the year before and nash too...the mavs guards could not stop anyone between harris terry stackhouse and a little buckner even a hair from ager...they just didn't have the guard size or speed to keep up with anyone in 07...surprised teams didn't exploit that all season....even in 06 they at least had adrian griffin...

Don nelson was the reason. That warriors team was nowhere near good enough and barely made playoffs. But in there 3 meeting Nelson won all. He knew how mavs and dirk ran their offense

This series was like Gruden Bucs destroying the Raiders on the Superbowl his former team. When your former coach knows your game plan inside and out you aee going to have a bad time.

Its was deff bad matchup for the Mavs. And the next round the warriors couldn't match up with Utah.

That's why I think garnet was the most versatile forward out of the 3 rivals. Duncan, dirk and garnett. Kg would have clamped down on anyone defensively from interior or perimeter he was that athletic in his prime.

Owner literally ruined the feel good story by trading j rich for a rookie bum in wright in summer 07....I would of loved to see the same core 9 2007 playoff rotation with a much improved seasoned azubuike come back the next season with the additions of old c webb and austin croshere to sure up the bench with rookie marco plus watson and street clothes big men bums o'bryant and mbenga go for the finals after waiving foyle and not resigning sarunas ...I think they would of beaten the lakers jazz hornets spurs that year..they won 48 games without j rich who avg. 21.8 ppg 5 3.1 assists 1.4 steals .7 blks on 40.6% from 3 with 3 makes a night playing all 82 games that year in his prime...in a west where 58 games would of gotten them the 1 seed....dude only played 51 games the year before and shot less fts at a worse clip almost a 8% difference scored 5.8 ppg less shot 3% worse from the field 4% from 3 shot 1.3 less fts got less boards per game got .3 less steals and had less blocks....imagine j rich on the 07-08 warriors team instead of brandan wright...
