Think it was Singapore, when they did their own the country was horrified at just how confronting and rude the show is. But...that's kind of the point, I still remember the promos for the show.
Nowadays ,the set couldn't had a videofloor like in the current US version. Then also ,once two players left in the game, they couldn't go straigth to the final head to head.
Alimoo1971 Yeah true... But she’d already left the show by that stage, and I assume they wanted the “current” cast at the time... Must’ve been taped mid ‘01, as Ditch Davey is there instead of Rupert Reid...
I remember that, if I had it or could find it sure. As it stands the Blue Heelers special, being the biggest fan of the show when it was on, I found on an old DVD Recorder thus I would need to try and source where the All Saints version may be.
Unfortunately in looking through it seems any episode of The Weakest Link is to be filed along with Always Greener and Stolen Miracle, lost forever until the producers look at releasing them on DVD. They're not on any streaming or share sites at all.
I'm 99% sure I trimmed the ads at the time of recording but however or whenever this was done it was done from the original source recorded from television. So sadly any version I may have had straight from the recording would have had the ads cut so unfortunately a "plus ads" version in my possession would be gone for good.
@@tsstevensts No worries that's unfortunate. I'm the kind of weirdo who loves it with the ads and in it's entire recording but that's all good! As this was recorded from the older southern cross seven that makes it more awesome as well but oh well haha. These episodes from the aussie version are hard to come by anyway so this is still an awesome upload. Cheers :)
That tiger logo? This would be what was Southern Cross when the episode broadcast on Tasmanian television in 2003. The logo itself was rather short lived but there are some fun facts about the channel itself, from a fishing program pulling an episode after homophobic remarks were pointed out to freak weather conditions in 2008 bouncing episode five of Underbelly to parts of Victoria where it was banned. Must dig through my old collection of tape, DVD and TV to DVR recordings for similar content, to have the old Schapelle Corby reports again back with analogue was still used.
A few people have asked and unfortunately the answer is no. I was hot and cold on The Weakest Link, the hostility of Cornelia Francis or whoever hosted and the contestants, but as perhaps Australia's biggest Blue Heelers fan had to record the special. Mad Dog Morgan in a medical drama Seven promoted the beans out of? I think it may be medical procedures hitting closer that crime and policing, All Saints didn't land for me so sadly I'll keep looking for a copy but this Weakes Link special may be lost. Same for the short lived Always Greener, Scavengers and full Aggro Cartoon Connection.
