I'm in tears reading these comments. It feels encouraging to know that I am not alone. The enemy uses so many people in our lives to fail, disappoint, discourage, (etc) us. It's all for HIS glory! The only way to get through it is to go through it. Stay encouraged family!

This is so true,I spilled the beans about something I was about to do,and it was blocked.and the spirit told me That the enemy heard what I said and was jealous.so that taught me to keep silent about anything I got going on.Thankyou for this message.

God had called me to write music for His kingdom. I thought that was an odd request since I don't play an instrument. The music began to flow out 0f me like water by the Holy Spirit. I was so excited I went to my praise and worship leader at church to share the vision . I told him I wanted to sing on the praise team just doing background vocals so I cold be in tuned with what the Holy Spirit was doing. I am a worshiper and have been singing for many years. My audition was a flop. I was not given a song to sing in advance. I was given a song as I stood on stage unpracticed. I had no melody given He just wanted harmony from the chorus of a song. I was set up by the enemy to fail. I was so discouraged. The Lord shared with me that every song I write for Him is already being sung in Heaven and will be for eternity. Building in silence is vital!

+vida130 do not be discouraged, we are living in times when very little gospel music is downloaded from heaven but from the flesh for the motive of making money. Count yourself as blessed, record your songs if you can on a device as you get the melody and words and when possible you can produce them for the world to break bondages, brings healing and deliverance to nations. Take your gift seriously and protect it, nurture it by singing in tongues and praying in tongues. God bless you.

Another great one right on time. My coworkers and others always come after me for not having any social media. I have sat trying to explain why and lately realized I do not need to explain at all to anyone my choices to remain private, quiet, and focused. Thank you again Dephne. I know after 21 years of prayer God is delivering me! What a beautiful revelation! I'm in awe.. That he hasn't forgotten me.. Forgive me Lord for doubting.. Though I'm mocked.. When others say where is your God now.. I say he will get me through this.. and if he doesn't he is worth it all.. I just came across your channel while doing a search on the power of silence... I felt like the Lord was counseling me on being silent, and not feeling so obliged to have an answer for people right away. I saw plenty of secular videos and Ted Talks, but I was refreshed to find your video, as the Lord literally told me to read Nehemiah recently. I love that! Thank you. I noticed FB is designed to put us in seat to be judged,mocked,opposed,offended,ect..These are all spiritual arrows..And allow spiritual opposition to manifest..I'm trying really hard to be verbally and socially silent..We need to learn to be validated and approved by God only.It is difficult,but I'm making progress.God Bless you sister!!xoxoxo Shalom

This is so RICH and led by the spirit. This reminds me of a prophecy a man of God gave me: He said picture yourself in front of a forest with tall trees that's never been touched for generations to generations. You only have one knife to cut down all those trees that no one else has cut down to get to the cabin ahead. God will use you to go down paths generations before you didn't go down, so the warfare will be intense. This was in 2006 and its,very very true still today. Thank you sis

this WORD hits close to home coming from a family background with all the above mentioned and I'm the first/only one trying to do things the right way. I have always been told I'm too secretive because I don't share what is going on in my life until months later after the affect and for a time I felt bad BUT the devil is a liar. I have been commissioned a few years ago to use all social media to glorify God, however certain things He is doing today He told me through your vlog and others to keep silent. Thank you, I needed to hear this. It was confirmation on multiple complex levels. Today I asked God to give me a Word and opened to the book of Nehemiah and learned about it. Then, later, I thought a seemingly random thought during Church about how I shouldn't always vocalize my thoughts and intentions to do things as the enemy could be ready to use it against me. I came to this video after praying about how to be a woman like the Proverbs 31 woman and then found this. Perfect timing!

Oh my goodness... I can't believe how relevant this session is to me!! I was literally shaking, goosebumps and heart pounding throughout listening to you Dephne,... I am just blown away. This is such a powerful teaching. I really do need to learn the art of silence, I've slowly been practicing it, the Holy Spirit has been dealing with me about it as I am also a talker, I like to broadcast almost everything, and yes it seldom is for the right reasons... If you want to find out who your enemies are, announce your plans. Powerful wisdom here. There is a time and season for everything. Better to celebrate afterwards, then to invite attacks from those who will oppose and try to defeat your attempts to achieve your goals. Silence is an effective weapon against such things.

God bless you for letting the Lord speak through you. There is indeed wisdom in silence and am thankful to God for using my late mum to teach me this very early and it has saved me soooooooo much!. She was a woman filled with the holy spirit and I remember she use to tell me "the stomach is not for food alone, learn to keep things to yourself and before the devil knows it, u will be too far for him to catch up with you". God has anointed you my sister! When you think people care.about you and you think that you can open up to them and share all of your business and your next move people will take that and use it against you and I had to learn my lesson about this. I don't say anything until it's already done now and let them figure out how I did it when it's done. That's how it has to be done because people don't have your best interest at hand and there are some people that are praying against you hoping that you fall and if they know your moves and where you are they'll do anything to put a stop to you.

I thought I was forgotten and you stopped loving me because I messed up again. I told others of your unfailing love, but I was in most need of it. My daughter was caught up in an alternate lifestyle, I never spoke against her or confirmed with anyone that that's what she was doing. I am sure that those around me thought that I was in denial. But, I was not in denial I was just not going to come into agreement with the enemy. after a few years my daughter was miraculously instantly delivered and set free. When she came home in a couple of weeks from another state the Lord said to me, you won this battle the same way Joshua won the battle of Jericho, in silence.

I am finely getting to this place thanks be to God. It’s definitely my season. I have the words SILENCE with a beautiful background pic that I put on my phone screen bout a week ago. This was so anointed and blessed & helped me gain understanding of the importance of being silence. Praise the LORD. Many blessings !
