This was good. I write songs and I've just been trawling youtube to listen to some classic songs. Analysing them. So this is the context that I was in and I listened to your song several times. Your chord structure is perfect as is. The first line is perfect and the chorus lines are fine. This is what I hear though. The second line of the verse is like an answer to the first. I would have chosen lower and diferent notes to the other parts to make more contrast. You singing is good as well.
