That was so interesting. Where we live we have a ceremony that everyone attends, (family only have a dinner the night before, no speeches or toasts) the bride already has her engagement ring, on the wedding day the groom gives her a wedding band (she gives him one too) in the ceremony, then for a first anniversary of the birth of their first child he gives her an eternity ring. After the wedding there’s a big reception with everyone who came to the wedding, usually a three course meal etc
She never got a wedding band added. They didn’t know that was a thing -lol But her engagement ring is gorgeous…. Just makes others ? “Why no wedding band for her ?” They have addressed it-so I’m sure a wedding band for her is in the works . They had a a very sweet wedding reception-also they kept it simple & things for them to enjoy. It looks like a beautiful UTAH/ young wedding.

Great question! Typically you have a wedding dinner the night before OR a wedding luncheon the day of. The wedding ceremony is in the Temple. We believe we are married for not just time, but for all eternity during this sacred ceremony where you make promises with God. It’s beautiful! Then we traditionally have a reception/party that night. Some choose to have a ring ceremony in between to exchange rings so those who weren’t able to be in the Temple can participate. That’s completely up to each person! Hope that helps! 💗
