Most of the Chinese give money instead of gift on any occasions like Christmas and birthday. It is more practical than giving the gift that the recipient might not like, need or use it. If money the recipient can accumulate money received to buy things they like or need.

Some are more elegant and I likes it! But I like also the fact that people fell free to joint to.the marriage without thinking too much how they look. Even if in case of picture with the couple is nice be at the best😊 The children are super nice and sweet

Indeed! Although, it is par for the course in rural China for grandparents to raise grandchildren. Sometimes both parents are away working. It's the same in my neck of the woods in Africa - where parents are forced to travel to different countries in order to support family back home. Many work abroad: Australia, Canada, UK, Europe, China, Russia, USA etc... With the vast majority not retuning home to visit for years. It's sad, but it's part and parcel of the reality lived by hundreds of millions across the developing world.
