It has to be a dream. There is no way Melanie would have walked out on the kids like that, just seems so out of character just like there is no way Terese & Toadie would have got together.. I'm not buying it.
No I'm afraid this is the latest thing Neighbours wants us to buy into. Starting as they mean to continue. Like the Dee and her twin sister storyline, Kerry's twin sister, Harold washing up on shore, etc. They are laughing at us again.
I wouldn't say it was out of character for Melanie. As much as I love her, she did the exact same thing when she married Joe Mangel - bailed after two years and left Toby and Sky behind.
Yet even that doesn't make sense. It's one year or just over that since Neighbours was last on TV, so I don't know why they are messing with that because it's a year not two. They could have picked it up from the moment it ended or said it's a year on because that's what it is, but two years just makes no sense.
Actually, it does make sense - the two-year jump was chosen because there were characters not returning and it allowed for more time to play around with to explain those absences and changes that have happened since we last saw these characters.
@@LightLife4 Mel just upped and left Toadie and his two kids. Remember that in Erinsborough land it's now two years since Paul and Terese's wedding. The story is that after Paul and Terese broke up, and Mel left Toadie, Terese and Toadie needed someone to talk to and fell into each other's arms. Don't worry no one's buying it though.
She was not ready to be a step mum, she was wonderful with the kids all along, this new story line is not happening what a shame, guess it really is good bye!!
I just want to know when does Paul and Terese and Toadie and Meleanie get back together? Because at the moment, to be honest, Toadie and Terese are mismatched. They are like chalk and cheese. Melanie is a better match for Toadie. Despite all Paul has done, we all know ow that he did everything for the love of his family and wives. But deep down, Paul is a genuine father and husband. I just hope that Terese gets back with Paul soon before that b.i.t.c.h. Chelsea gets her hands on Paul's bank account. Can't stand her.
Ridiculous new start to neighbours with so many cast members not in the new show and some new story lines I think it's lost its way will it last who knows . I've decided not to bother getting into this show anymore after watching it for many years ( sorry Neighbours ) .
Why did you expect every single cast member to return? Many moved away, got new jobs, or just didn’t want to return. We’re lucky we even got the number of returnees that we have. Give the show a chance to fall back into rhythm again.
@NeighboursNerd completely agree. The show has found its rhythm now, people just had to give it a chance to build some new storylines and character arcs. Really loving it again now. I hear David and Aaron are returning too, with Chloe and Ellie to come too. There is so much scope for other cast members to return too, Neighbours is always good at that. Looking forward to an inevitable Izzy return 😍😁
