My scariest moment of 43 years of riding waves was bodysurfing The Wedge at 17 and getting launched 10 feet up and towards dry sand on a 10 foot wave! Love what you do my favorite was the churchill fin 2 the head! DOINK

Just found this video by accident and suddenly it was 1962 all over again. I went to Mesa High and we would surf Dana Point (Before the breakwater that ruined it) and about once a month we got crazy and hit the Wedge. We never used surfboards (couldn't afford to!) so we just bellyboarded it. We called it Body Womping! I can't believe we actually did it. Rarely saw anybody besides us crazies.
