Ah yes, the highly competitive, cutthroat world of Wedge Cinematography is totally dominated by Beef's TV. Hands down, no doubt, 100% Barreliciousness!

I body surfed the wedge from 1968 to 73. No surfers as short boards were in their infancy and Boggie was not yet invented but there were a few kneeboarders. We called the huge shore break just north of the main break BRUTAL! Back then there were telephone poles with wires atop going along the length of the jetty and on big days in Aug. and Sept. I remember being on the waves peak looking over and being above the wire. I'm an old man now but cherish those memories. Randy, if you're out there I miss you brother, we had a good time!

After 50 years growing up in HB and surfing everything from the Ranch to Tijuana sloughs it sure would be nice to see Newport Point once in a while. Epic shots! Love that you got in the water. I bought a water housing and stuck my mirrorless camera in there only to realize that it's a lot of work to move around out there when you don't have a big buoyant surfboard and you're a big, fat, old walrusy guy like me.
