Fan since shoutout podcast. It might be better if opposing views are brought and debated on such issues so we can open our minds to both sides. Otherwise, we risk locking ourselves in an echo chamber.
Reverends opening hornbill festival with prayer while people brewing liquor in morungs.. Reverends and pastors gracing and praying at political meetings, campaigns and functions where liquor is served after program..what hypocrisy is this NBCC?
People….. please don’t get confused. How can we expect the church to endorse alcohol …….. by principle alone they cannot and in fact they should not!!…… we are directing the question in the wrong direction!!!!, please stop bashing the church….. somehow the attention has been diverted to the church by vested/invested group of few who benefit hugely. We have our NLA and discussion/debate should be tabled in the house and then decisions have to be taken….. simply putting it, we as public should not expect the government to wipe our ass also….. to drink or not we have to make the decision individually. Heaven or hell….. we can’t expect the govt. to give us.
Even God did not descend to the level of total prohibit sin rather rules were set and the defaulter bears it's consequences. That's free-will. The NBCC is not even playing God rather the devil's advocate.
