I hope you tackle loft spaces in the next season! Or more studio apartments and rental units because I'm from that generation that can only afford to rent.
Sara Roger... I'm in the older generation, and we're there too. I recently sold my house to move closer to my daughter. I didn't get as much for it as I might have a few years ago. Where I live, I can only afford an older mobile home or maybe rent. Not even rent of a house. Maybe a small apartment or room in someone else's house. It's pretty sad, but I worked all my life, and have a small pension, so I'm grateful. Good luck.
This was an amazing season! I love the weekender because there is no drama (except maybe spiders) like the other Reno shows. I'll have my eyes peeled for a season 4! Until then I think I will have to watch every episode again! Thank you Monica.
Oh wow, I can't believe o just came here in season 3, when Stacy had her office made over, it feels like if I've been following through this series since it was made!!!!
I just stumbled across the Weekender day before yesyerday and with this video I finished all 3 seasons. All the projects are amazing and especially the tones of paint that you choose are always wonderful.
I love this series so much! Monica is so good at her craft and she's very down-to-earth. I love seeing the residents' excitement when they see the reveal :) Please please please make a season 4.
I loved the Everything Attic, out of these. I want to see what Monica can do with a stairway in the entranceway. My condo has basically two flights of stairs to get people into the main living space, and I haven't figured out a way to get around the bad first impression when they walk in the door. I'm doing a lot with the Great Room and the upstairs, but I have to drag people up the stairs to get them to appreciate it at all.
They sort of did this with the mudroom, if that's the video you're talking about. But I don't even have a mudroom. It's literally just a stairway that guests have to climb up two flights of stairs from the front door before they get to anything livable. Not a bad effort, though. :)
I have watched you from Knock it Off to the Lowe's Weekender and am astounded every time you decorate and build! It is truly creative when you use the same elements in different ways and the out comes are uniquely different. As a side note, I miss you with Jess. I look forward to Season 4. Please Hurry!
Emily Salcedo I hate it. I binge-watching stuff I like, and don't tend to have time in my day to sit down, uninterrupted, for even 20 minutes at a time. I like 15 minutes or less for video content. Then I can fit 4 episodes into an evening, instead of three.
My grandpa has a play set exactly like it in his yard as well. Even just as run down. And when I was little, I had a turtle toy thing exactly like that. But I like 2 states away not to mention how many cities. It must've been a popular swing set installation from awhile ago that got really run down as time went on.
Well done, as always ! Congrats to The Weekender Team for another wonderful season. I love the designs, the quality of the videos (filming, editing, ...) and obviously learming all those tips !! If there would be a season 4 (pretty pleeaaase), could it start with a "fast forward" of the previous season ? Meaning: doing a quick interview of one (or more ;-) of the previous people that had The Weekender come over, and to let them show/speak about how the makeover evolved ?
Another excellent transformation that is an inviting play area for the girls & their friends. I see that area as a magnet for all the neighborhood kids = could be a concern without fencing around the backyard. As the girls grow the shed will make one super playhouse.
I love your projects... Every video has something special about it.. I love it more as u finish it within a weekend... Amazing job Monica! U r a true inspiration to me. Thank you for for sharing all your amazing work with the world 👍🏼
Fantastic job.also so is your other projects you have done for all the families. Hopely you will continue haveing your show we love it and you. We remember your knock it off show.
Will recommend some screen and bug barrier over the vents and the bottom of the door. Hang cedar sticks (closet protection) to keep spiders and bugs out.
Please do a video on a kitchen/dining/sitting area combo. My dining room/space has very low ceilings. I am having a hard time pulling the look together. I love your transformations! Keep up the great work.
love to see all you do hope you will tackle more small open space areas like small kitchen/living rooms. Many of us have these small spaces that we have to DIY ourselves as money and time are in short supply
While watching I thought this is how real stories happen that later inspire horror movies. Although everything was good beautiful and functional as play area. I love the inside of shed. I just wish parents sit on chairs out side the shed when kids play.
Rachel someBODY should have given the name a few more minutes baking in the oven 😭 Still can't deny that the finished product looked so cute and amazing
The colour combination of on the outside was too good. And the idea of creating an illusion of shed even on the play area made it like two sheds. The inside too was cozy and functional for the girls too and safe too to play in any season.
Pretty interior. But wouldn't want to be a neighbor and have to see those stripes every time I look out the window. Would have preferred a sweet blue or mint green with pastel or white trim. Also, why no insulation? Without, it will for sure be hot in summer, cold in winter. Insulation with beadboard would add tons of utility.
Omg I love your videos and the amazing job you do. Any recommendations of how to updated a small kitchen/dinning? When I say small its pretty small galley narrow style. I just bought my house and the kitchen need some work done.
I would die if you all came to my house. I bought my first house last year at the age of 50. I've done a lot with help from my family. The last thing that desperately needs done is the kitchen. Metal cabinets, yellow countertops and no storage. I have ideas but still need help.
That loos so princess chic it's so adorable and fun I wish I had that as a kid that would have been my most favorite place to be because I was always playing outside we didn't have game stations or computures we had only our emajonations.
