It was a great homage to his roots and how far he came from. He came from a Canadian kid with big dreams and now he’s a best selling artist performing on one of the biggest stages ever. Makes me smile.

I just watched this halftime show for the first time for the same reason and can't believe that people didn't like it either, because it's absolutely amazing and The Weeknd can sing! I realise that people have different tastes, but they could at least appreciate the effort involved. I'm also aware that many of them criticise anything and enjoy upsetting others. 😊

it's also worth mentioning he was given the worst year with so many restrictions compared to everyone else. Last 3 years were good only because of nostalgia this HT however was done by a modern artist with no guests too. I guess weeknd's HT is so unique it stands out.

Usher one was actually really quality performance. Its just ppl not familiar with his songs or him, which clearly younger ones have no idea actually whats happening. And its okay.

I actually think the restrictions led to a more creative show. They were able to have bigger set pieces like the stage that didn't need to be set up in 5 minutes.
