Great review man! I definitely agree this feels like a trilogy from a more experienced weeknd and i fuckin love it! How many times have you seen him live? I've seen him a lot but i didn't get to go to his last tour.
I've seen him 5 times now. My favorite would have to be the kiss land tour just because the set design really felt like you were in another world and the performance matched it perfectly. The Starboy tour was huge because it felt like he was really a super star. It almost seemed like a greatest hits tour mixed with some Starboy catalog. And the way he just worked arenas was crazy to see. Especially when you consider how shy he was when he first started touring. Here's to hoping we both catch his next round of shows!
The Dose yeah I went to the kissland tour too and he had those japanese cat things walking around before the show lol met him at the end (before he had 70 billion fans). Really nice/humble guy. Nice to see as big a weeknd fan as me on here representin! And yeah, if he keeps going with this sound definitely not missing the next tour! haha.
Can I ask you sth? I did a video too, but it got blocked in all countrys and it took me so many hours to do it and upload it and I just don't understand that it's working for a lot of other people :-/ Did you try to use not as much and cut it down a lot. I mean I cut it a lot but still....
Truth be told this is my third version of the video. First two were blocked as well. But yea I just kept cutting it up and third time was the charm. When doing it, try to make sure your clips aren't too long. 15 secs max
I like Trilogy, but what I do not like about Weeknd, is he sounds the same in each song, there is not switch up in how he delivers his voice, and he's also boring in a live show. I personally think he's popular because of his affiliation with Drake and the like. But I feel Miguel is way more creative and musically talented. Weeknd releases more music frequently tho.
