Best reaction channel. It is not just reaction, it is breakdown of the song, explaining the lyrics, giving us the deeper meaning. Amazing man, keep it up! Fan from the other side of the world in Croatia!
In the song "in your eyes" the saxophone that is playing through out the song is the same one that was playin as he walked past the guy when he first went into the subway, i knew it was gonna bea part of the album and i was hype when i found it
@@davidzarate9790 i know i was turnt when i heard it "what if i OD? I want you to OD right beside me, i want you to follow right behind me" i was like "ooohhh shit there it is!"🤣🤣🤣
It makes sense. This album was sort of a call to two things, the loss of his love "presumably with Bella" and also the feeling of coming down from drug trips. This whole album shows a look into his addictions and how it's affected his relationships and his life in general. He almost finds the light throughout the album and finally realizes how far gone he's ended up. It's rock bottom for him and he's lost. This album is incredibly deep. Far more nuanced than a lot of his earlier work which was more centered around just partying. There's a lot of growth in this album.
Hazanyde Personally that’s how I handle a second/third listen through an album. The first listen is always back-to-back-to-back, going for more of an experience than analyzation. Second and Third listens are for reflection and analyzation (for me at least).
Best reactions and breakdowns on the platform right now so much detail. I also enjoy when you add your own experiences and feelings into these videos too.
Ernest! I’m so glad I found your page! I love how depth you get. And you jump everywhere from lyrics to production to meaning! It’s deep I love it! For sure turning on those post notifications! Keep up the great work!
Love your reaction but i cant wait for the the songs Snowchild cause of lyrical analysis, Escape from LA and Faith these are the ones I think you would enjoy the most, cant wait to see your other reactions
I feel like you are the best reaction channel, period. You don’t just react, but you actually care about the music and you give your honest thoughts on the songs, the production and the lyrics. Keep going man, awesome channel.
TheThirdErnest Deadass you the only one I’ve seen that GETS it, in every weeknd reaction. Errybody else jus hyped about the beat but don’t understand the complexity behind the production as well as the lyrics. N yet theyre so called OGXO’s. Much love breh.
Love that song so much its definitely top 5 on this album. After listening to it even more i definitely agree its a fusion of kissland and my dear melancholy, with a 80s synth pop vibe. Hauntingly beautiful... It keeps getting better 😊
I’m soooo glad I have someone to love his music with and get to talk about it... even know it’s basically a one way conversation...but you and I are on the same page sooooo often... LOVE IT Thank you
There is also elements of beauty behind the madness in this as well. There’s a part in this song where the tone of the melody closely resembles a part close to the end of acquainted.
Bro your reactions are by far the best out of all here on youtube. I'm always getting so fckn mad when ppl upload a reaction and cut the best parts away .. and mostly they don't even understand what they are listening to ... Keep it up
Ernest, thanks for getting me through the quarantine Spain is in right now. Cannot wait for the next reaction! You're making me see and listen to Abel on a whole new level :D
Adaptation at the start tho....one of my favs off Kiss Land. I know I would love to see you react to Kiss Land on the channel, being the Weeknd fan you are.
Best reactor out there... the intelligent analysis and the analogy of the menu is so accurate and hilarious! Can't wait for you to react to Faith, Snowchild and Escape from LA
the outro beat really does sound like panic feels. i like them leaving in a few little parts of the beat from when it was "happy" because vegas is still going and he's still in that environment but he's not having a good time anymore
Got to give you props bro... your reactions have more depth and understanding of the background of the song... others just react to the beat or a few sentences... keep doing your thing ✌🏽
Not a fan of this kind of music but I still rock with your reactions and enjoy the breakdowns. Stay safe and keep us entertained while the world famous apart 😉
Love this Album , Especially Scared to live , powerful, Another thing when he performed on SNL he sang the same song only I noticed it has more 80s the stranger things melody , or is it just me , i hope he does release that single too
TheThirdErnest I’m feeling it! Big props on the vids homie.. I enjoyed the NF journey, digging the Em break downs and all the artists in between. 🔥 🔥 🔥
The ending sounds just make me think he's like Get Me off This Ride!!! Like a nightmare janky carnival ride you thought was going to hurl you across town. Yo
Feels like two versions of weeknd when beat drops other version shows up and then both alter egos mix up some time. But after heartless and doing all the shit he did during trilogy he gives up to his previous self which he thinks it's his real self.
This song is about him wanting a girl back. And no its not Bella he already told her our relationship isn't gonna work out from the song scared to live. But he wants a girl back: key word (BACK) So meaning he's already been with this girl. I just need help tryna figure out who that is.
I guess there's 6 songs about Selena Gomez. Alone again, to late, blinding lights, hardest to love , save your tears and after hours. It sounds like it could be but we shall see some are just about himself and some maybe about both bella and Selena and how he messed those relationships up. I personally think he w ts Selena back. He's figured out she's to young for him and she has a lot of life ahead of her to be strapped down to a 30 yr. Old. Sounds like he's finally figuring his shit out! Lol
Where have we heard the humming from the first 5 seconds of the song? I feel like I recognize that tune from another Weeknd song but can't put my finger on it..
Ayo, I feel like this song has more Selena Gomez in it than Bella Hadid. Everyone just assumes Bella Hadid cause that’s his ex but if you REALLY think about it. It relates more wiTh Selena. Just saying
The Weeknd got an album about Selena Gomez Selena Gomez got an album about Justin Beiber Justin Beiber got an album about his wife Hailey Yup, that pretty much sums up love!!!
Yo sel's Album was more about herself and her journey through out all the past four years ( ups/downs/exes/feelings) and not only about that one ex ..just saying
