Just bought one of these shaft drive versions and my god its heavy! Got one for its self drive and everyone telling me how reliable they are but feel it is overkill for our garden but sod it! Not used it yet but looking forward to trying it tomorrow.
Weibang. Fantastic machines. Heavy. But reliable quality as standard. I've the virtue 53ssd. Shafts drive. Absolutely wouldn't be without it! ( unless Weibang done trade in's for the BBC version )
Those are some sharp looking mowers Josh, I like the critter guard on the front to knock cats, dogs and small children out of the way while cutting. 🙂👍
Just brought the Virtue Pro 46 smp mulching mower what a brilliant mower great price too would like the virtue 20” 3 in 1 to add to my fleet absolutely love them 👍
So the steel deck is lighter than ally deck? Not sure having belt drive or not affect collection performance...? What's the reason for not having side discharge on the pro rated mower? Be quite useful I think, maybe the ally deck can't cope with having a bit hole? Good video.
Alu deck are designed for the best collection, totally smooth inside of the deck especially on the side the hole would be effects the performance of the deck. The reason the shaft drive also give better collection is there is more space/volume inside the deck as no belt covers as the shaft runs on the top of the deck not under it
@@landerson0812 thanks Lewis. I had one of those shaft drives few years ago. Hope they’ve been adjusted so they don’t rip up turf when you engage the drive like mine did.
I've been contemplating whether to get a weibang mower next, I heard a lot of good things about them... Will have to wait for my hayter to break down first 🤷🏾♂️
Can't speak about the others mowers, but the svp46, is ok at what it does and quick, but the mower has all its weight is on the rear wheels so balance is terrible, with half bag of grass, the mower is tipping back and that also causes deep tramlines, generally unpleasant to use, I'm afraid to say. Enjoying the videos, keep up the good work. 👍
Yeah your right Jason. It is a bit read heavy but for the price you do get a good robust mower. On the bright side of a heavy rear, it makes turning easier 😉
They good but have few faults. No need for 7 speeds, 4 plenty. Box is too long should be 4in shorter and wider. I've notice the front wheels lift of ground with very littke effort and does it alot when grass in box which is a pain when going along.
