Every trendy game goes like this: >makes a game >copy and pastes the gameplay >searching "scary face" and picking the first result (mainly that goofy ahh a very hungry pikachu face) >makes the map nighttime >adds some goofy jumpscare that isn't scaring anyone unless their 9 or younger >adds p2w gamepasses >publishes it >end
The only one I slightly have respect to is Weird Strict Librarian, because of its sound based system being cool, and having the end of the night be a guaranteed chase.
I feel bad for the original creator, he made something that he likes, and a bunch of people just copy it and mass produce it, sometimes getting a better like % than the original. He doesn't even like them, and has tried reaching out for them to change, but they just won't listen.
Strict hotel guard is like the only weird strict game that is actually trying to be different (even tho it's kinda the same, it still has more nights and chapters, a story, it's kinda harder and there is a boss fight) but I do agree, people need to be different
Interestingly enough, games like adopt me and rainbow friends (sometimes even doors without counting two of them) rarely get an actual game trying to copy them, most of them are bad scams or direct copy paste of assets. However games like weird strict dad and the experience are easy to copy, the characters are all a humanoid rig and the mechanics are simple, they're easy to customise to fit a fake idea of "originality" which become the target to these people.
Maybe because making original pets and monsters is more complicated for a user that is trying to pump these games out as fast and as many as possible, but I still find it weird. What makes a game "safe" from being milked to death by others?

When I played weird strict dad I thought it was pretty cool an fun and, I was excited to see weird strict dad (chapter 2) but then it became VERY repetitive and got boring and lazy (like the experience games). It makes me sad to see horror games like doors, a stereotypical obby, break in, mimic, and more lose popularity.

It's funny how they end up making copies of the copy, since obviously weird strict dad is based on residence massacre, the worst of all is that there are few copies or inspirations of residence massacre, like Claus Carnage and Home alone
tbh, there's a "weird strict ___" type game that I'd say has high quality, it's called "strict brother", you can give it a try as it's really underrated.

even weird strict dad is just meant to be a residence massacre clone. all of the "weird strict" games are poorly made. even though weird strict dad is bad too, at least it's kind of fun and doesn't try to force you to buy a bunch of useless p2w gamepasses.
@@cristianospohr69 its most likely that the creator of weird strict dad saw the success of residence massacre and tried to copy the style i suppose it wouldn't be wrong to say it's inspired, but the gameplay is so much shittier than residence massacre that i don't want to consider it an inspiration
geez, and I thought that the "experience" horror games were annoying. These are just riding off the hype train of Weird Strict Dad, which was itself riding off the hype train of Residence Massacre. I also hate this visual style. It's trying to look like "old roblox" but it breaks this aesthetic by mixing the square studs with the round studs on the characters, and randomly inserting modern meshes. You could argue that it's trying to emulate the Get A Snack at 4 AM games who also mixed the old roblox style with newer-styled meshes and UI, and also how these games throw meme images on the wall, but this is a lazy excuse. GASA4-styled games are centered around meme culture in general, and are also full of easter eggs and inside jokes. The memes are there to add to the game's humorous and surreal atmosphere, while here they're merely there to distract you from the fact that you're playing a crappy, soulless game made to farm robux. also, GASA4 games have no gamepasses. especially not in-game. Also I'm glad you mentioned the oxygen thing, its annoying and makes no sense. It's just more padding.
the worst is that some of these games do something that annoys me a lot. Which is that, some games do stud EVERYWHERE. Which in old roblox (dw i'm not one of these "old robok iz better!?!?"), it is supposed to be the studs in the top. Also Residence Massacre is just better than most of these, Residence Massacre ACTUALLY scared me. Not a smiling dad.

Hello SenPrista I have a rooms fangame to recommend you It's called Liminal Rooms Basically its a fangame that has a lot of entities and mechanics and can be really hard and intense at times so I would really like if you made a video on this game because it also REALLY needs more attention than it has By the way, a section has 800 rooms but it has A-100, A-200, A-400, A-600 teleporters and other sections teleporters Also at the end of a section you will encounter a-799, a bossfight to try to stop you from getting to b section, its really hard but beatable. if you say that they're all shit you might wanna try strict brother..... also spoiler alert if you wanna try out strict brother alright so this game is really, really different from the others, so instead of having to survive until a specified time, you have to play some games the number of stages will vary depending on the number if players so for example, solo is 30 stages, duo is 40, trio is 50 and so on also there's in game shop yay AND NO GAMEPASSES YAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYYA other than that the rest of the game is basically the same as weird strict dad AND SKIP OBJECTIVES BUTTON YYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYYAYA
Y'know...I honestly think these games don't know how to balance stats(in a reasonable way and doesn't go down in 5-10 minutes). Especially the original, which tried to juggle the whole food/water thing and the new ship responsibilities (and "Xenobus") Edit: Forgot to say that the devs probably shouldn't add so many stats or have them go down so quickly
Bro teh weird strict dad thing is just insane how there are so many copy cats it makes the ripoffs of Kung Fu Panda literally jealous how there is less creativity and more of them, like these games are a symbol A LITERAL SYMBOL of mass production, creativity loss and laziness to a point where it feels like its no longer human. And the whole process of these clones is like bacteria multiplying via mitosis like in that one scene from the Evolution movie but now it is too late, there so many weird strict copies and experience copies that if a since game was a MOLECULE of water, they would literally make earth a water world, like 0 land and it is all 1 big ocean of these games converted into molecules that trillions make just a droplet. And thats not all, not to mention the fact that there could even be another game that will have a similar or worse, an even BIGGER impact to the roblox community's creativity in a whole massive shockwave that would decimate the personalities, character and future of millions of children or 40 year olds in basements that would make roblox come from the imaginitive world it was supposed to be into a waste land filled to the brink of mass increative copies, and this entire scenario could even happen right now as I type this, there could literally be that same threat coming our way faster than a shooting star at light speed hurtling to our species that would transform every single man, woman and even AI and robots into brain dead (or CPU dead if you are a bot) zombie that all they'd do is just play the same things every day and missing the qualities and joys of the world, to where we all forget there was such thing as outside. But what can we do? Every single day could possibly lead to the new Kung Fu Panda, to the new Weird Strict Dad, to the new fate of everyone's creativity.

I think that these ripoffs are mildly better than Weird Strict Dad. Some are mistakes, some are masterpieces. I think that out of all of these ripoffs, strict brother is the best one. I highly recommend to play it if your into these games.
I found ALOT of remakes of weird strict dad today when I played Roblox yesterday, And all of them, THERE ARE THE WORST REMAKES IVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
I would only be ok with extreme funs spamming those game passes if they are giving the Robux they make from it to blueloop but of course they don’t because extreme “funs” or as I kill to say, lazy funs are a group of lazy unoriginal people that steal games to try and make profit
