If you do not use terra-cotta pots just set the humidity meter on top the soil instead of next to the pot, I've actually done this for a long time and it works great for my plants! Everything from my Alocasia to my Gloriosum and Thai constellations

🤯🤯🤯🤯 what a great idea!!!! I usually pot up a more vocal plant with my main plant to let me know when to water correctly. ie: Monstera Mint NOId with Rhipsalis & Thanksgiving cactus. When the cactus wrinkles , I water ☺️ Or a Scindapsus Exotica with Philodendron Florida… when the Scindapsus Curls , I water

Water evaporates from terracotta, leaving behind SALT! That pot looks hella salty. Time to repot. Nice plant.

This is such a great tip for more stationary plants on planks / trellises. Sometimes I forget to water those because I can’t pick them up and take them off the plank. Can’t wait to try this trick 🪴🔍

I hope you calibrated those meters. Because they are know not to be. You can place them in a ziplock with a cap of table salt. That should be 75 humidity after a few hrs. If it's more or less just do the math and then you will have the correct humidity.
