The Minolta camera is actually kind of sad. I looked it up, and in the US, the Minolta brand is just a licensed brand owned by some company that slaps it on to Chinese made cameras.
Yeah, the real Minolta camera division merged with Konica in the late 90's then that whole thing was acquired by Sony in the mid 00's. The Sony Alpha branding is a direct reference/continuation to Minolta's Alpha system developed in the 80's and I own a bunch of those 80's lenses for my Sony cameras.

like a month ago i went to goodwill and i seen a duffle bag (it was black) and it had the sharper image brand on it and it was like $4 but knowing sharper image it was probably like $40+ originally (it was like the size of a nike duffle bag)

A few things. Bad work conditions, inaccurate testing and data gathering (resulting in misleading info for products they're talking about), and they sold a prototype they were supposed to give back.
The poles aren’t ski poles they’re hiking poles, and the compartments are meant to hold emergency water in case you need it, not alcohol. I understand that what the description says, but that’s someone reselling them and not at all what the product is supposed to be.

I grew up in the super suburbs like 98% university educated people and neighbors were doctors business owners uni professors....and the more Avon, Tupperware, Bose, and sharper image things you had was like your social standing
