The brilliant thing about Stormfront's introduction is that it shows how someone can hold certain "good" values while also holding some really horrifically evil values at the exact same time - and how that can lead us to rush to judgement and assume someone shares ALL our values before we really get to know them fully. Because of course someone could believe in equality of the sexes, but NOT believe in equality of races. And someone who seems anti-establishment might very well just want a DIFFERENT kind of establishment in power instead. Plus there are lots of little hints in the first few episodes: Stormfront not standing up to greet A-Train when he surprises Starlight at the interview, Stormfront immediately complementing Homelander on his really blue eyes when meeting him, etc.

It was great writing to spend almost 3 entire episodes getting the audience to love Stormfront and then to abruptly turn it on a dime in the last 3 min of this episode. Much more effective then introducing her like a cardboard villian.

My wife and I are not easily shocked but this had us speechless for about 5 minutes followed by hysterical laughter 😂

Stormfront is so charismatic and different from the others that she's very likeable which makes it quite the shock when she shows her true colors. I'm loving your reactions to the series.

i love that 180 🤣🤣 to this day it still kinda hurts to know how much we all liked stormfront until that moment she went wild hurting people. 😔 the only thing i could say is, the writers did good.

So these first three episodes of season 2 were all released at the same time. After finishing this episode, I’m sure you can imagine why they decided to drop all three together. Once I finished this episode, I needed the week break 😅

I love stormfront as a villain. She's literally perfection. But she's totally pure evil 😈 and someone who is better at pretending to be good.
