i'm still amazed at how Kanye finds all these songs, THEN pulls out the piece he wants, AND brings it all back together with dope beats. that truly is amazing.
you prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
Let me explain. To come up in this time before hip hop thug life became a culture, this was music for everyday black folks, regardless of location,it hit a softness, and a beauty within, even the hardest dude back then (1969 till 1979) was into this. Disco stopped it,then New Jack swing {Teddy Riley) Came in. Rap is forming real hard,''The Nigga Shit'' is finally finding a home. No more Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes. No more. No more Delphonics. No more Blue Magic,Moments. Yall know the rest. No more! In return, they gave us black folks name MC ''NutMeg''. We bought into it for the sake of keeping it real. This is needed now! Thank God for the Latino's and the Spanish culture for keeping it going! Thank you!!!!
This is the secret living room vault! This cut is black basement culture in its purest form. Between 1971 to 1973,between that time.................Lethal

man...i had this record. I always played the flip side as well, but for some reason, I forgot the title. I hate it when my records were stolen! Thanks for posting
First off, this is an incredible song (the instrumentation, the vocals, how everything is arranged, just everything about is incredible!). But, I can never overlook the sheer genius of the way that Kanye West sampled this. What he did with this is, to me (and always will be), one of the most incredible samples in the history of hip hop!
Ooh ooh ooh, I can dig it kgshearn,I was there. too bad these kids don't know nothing about that, cause they'd know what a real party is like. there ain't nothing like grinding with some girl you're sweet on and doing the 500as low as you can go !!! Peace Bro.
@Stan4reds1 he didn't really do much. he just sampled about 10+ words. The actual song isn't very similar at all. so both versions are very unique, i love them both :D
@Rootdog40 Exactly...Some new aged bama..to the person who keeps mentioning samples..Please dont mention these new aged people with these legends..Screw samples
Stop glorifying these no talent bums that don't have a creative bone in their body. The 70`s was the golden age of music from jazz to disco. The times fascillitated creativity
